I’m never disappointed here. There’s a different variety of Thai dishes that you won’t find in other restaurants. Flavors are very good and service as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and cafe-like with good service. This time my wife and I had crispy chive dumplings for an appetizer. I had the kua gling (delicious) and my wife had the crispy pork belly and Chinese broccoli.

Food here is solid, and has other dishes you won’t find in other Thai restaurants. The restaurant is in a little strip mall with free parking, which is always a plus. The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is comfortable, casual, and relaxing. For food, there are many specialties I don’t see in other similar restaurants and the flavors are very good. This last time I went for the Tom Kha gai (absolutely delicious), crispy tofu (was good considering I usually don’t eat tofu; trying to get there), and chicken karee curry. My wife shared the soup and tofu with me. Her main dish was tofu pad Thai, which she loved.

Great food! Along with delicious food, this place offers some different dishes that you don’t find in other Thai restaurants. This introduces you to many new experiences. There’s adequate free parking so no trouble going there. The staff are very friendly, and the environment is very comfortable. They can get very busy so plan around peak times. On this visit I tried the steak Thai Ghang Waan, which had wonderful flavors, while my wife tried the floating market noodle soup and said was delicious.

First, it’s great that there’s adequate parking. It’s a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. I like that their menu options include other things you don’t find in other Thai restaurants. Both my wife and I had crispy pork belly and both were delicious. My wife went for Chinese broccoli while I had garlic....

Still the best Thai food I have had in the area. I've had Thai all over DC. Price typically is not an issue for me but this place some how manages to be low in price and very high in quality. I think they see my face so much they just know I'm ready to order and eat as much as a I can.

I am very picky about my Pad Thai. So picky I have only had it the way I like it at two restaurants ever. This place being one of them. The other place was in Oregon. Some places the sauce is sweet. Some places its too salty. Some places the there is too much sauce or too little. This place gets it just right.

My favorite dish is Drunken noodle! Pad Kee Mao I believe is the name. I am also very picky about the noodles that are used/crafted in this dish. The rice noodles here are nice and thick. I get mine Thai Spicy so mine is usually over the top in spice as well.

Their Papaya salad is to die for! Fresh and spicy! I was not a big fan of the fermented crab version but the regular version is amazing! I get 15 Thai peppers added to mine. My mouth and eyes don't stand a chance.

One thing about meat. You know how most places are quite stingy? This place gives just the right amount. More than you need but enough to fill you up! Their meats are big in size too. Their shrimps they've had lately have been pretty large. The scallops have been the size of a half dollar.

Anyways if you're wondering whether to come try this or not. Just come. Its the best Thai Food Around. This is also coming from people whom are Thai. I am not Thai. I am Vietnamese. I love Thai food more than my own. Might be because of the heat and the soy sauce and the flavor balance that goes from...

Exquisite Pad Thai Experience at Thai Ghang Waan

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Pad Thai Rayong at Thai Ghang Waan restaurant, and it was undoubtedly the best Pad Thai I've ever had. From the moment it arrived at my table, I could tell this dish was something special.

Firstly, the presentation was impeccable, with vibrant colors and a tantalizing aroma that immediately whetted my appetite. The Pad Thai was beautifully plated, with a generous portion of perfectly cooked noodles adorned with fresh vegetables, succulent prawns and lobsters, and just the right amount of crushed peanuts sprinkled on top.

The flavors were a harmonious symphony of sweet, tangy, and savory notes, perfectly balanced to create a truly unforgettable culinary experience. Each bite was a delight, with the noodles delicately coated in a luscious sauce that left me craving more with every mouthful.

What truly set this Pad Thai apart was the attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients used. Every element seemed to have been carefully selected and expertly prepared, resulting in a dish that was nothing short of perfection.

Moreover, the ambiance of Thai Ghang Waan added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made dining here a pleasure from start to finish.

In conclusion, if you're ever in the mood for Pad Thai, look no further than Thai Ghang Waan and be sure to try the Pad Thai Rayong. It's an experience that will leave your taste buds singing and longing for more. Highly...

Wow - I had heard about this place from colleagues in the past, but had no idea that this gem of a restaurant located in an unassuming suburban neighborhood could be so good. I went recently with my partner and some friends who stated it was their favorite Thai restaurant in the DC area. I had the crispy pork belly and Chinese broccoli, as I always do, my partner had the crab fried rice, and we shared other plates which included Isan sausage, fried shrimp cake, beef noodles, and minced basil pork - all exceptionally delicious. The Isan sausage was plump and juicy, although I would prefer a little less rice in the blend, but still tasted almost like I was in Thailand. The crispy pork belly was crisp to a perfection, and the sauce on the Chinese broccoli was light but coated all the ingredients on the plate well. The beef noodles, which isn't a dish I normally order but my friend did and I am glad he did - were so scrumptious I am still thinking about them days later. This restaurant is totally authentic and an amazing find in Northern Virginia. If you're in the DC area and you love and crave authentic Thai food you must try this place! 5/5!
