My rating isn't based on the pizza compared to every other pizza in the area, but more along the lines of it being a halal option. There's some indoor seating and service can be on the slow side, but it's because they're always so busy. This place makes a very very solid pizza - the crust is chewy and flavorful, they give plenty of cheese and generous toppings. Their prices haven't changed in the last four years, which is really great with the pandemic and inflation. I usually get the meatzza and the beef bihari pizzas. The meatzza has all kinds of toppings - sausage, ham, pepperoni, bacon (all beef based and halal) and is delicious. The beef bihari has spicy beef, onions, and bell peppers and is flavorful. It really isn't going to be the best pizza you have in your life, and I haven't tried anything there other than the pizza, but it's worth giving them a shot.
I will say, I'm surprised people take out their issues with the delivery services they use on the establishment in these reviews - Ubereats, door dash, and so on are all third party services the restaurant has no control over. The apps don't even consult with restaurants on menus and pricing. Other than issues with the food itself, you should really be sending complaints related to the delivery (including food being all messed up) to the apps. Leaving a one star review because the person who delivered your food threw it around and messed it up doesn't...
Read moreAbsolutely! Here’s another friendly and enthusiastic review for a pizza shop, highlighting Nemra, Anik, and Asif:
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pizza and gyro, and I can't say enough good things about my experience there! From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel like part of the family.
Nemra greeted us at the door with a warm smile and friendly conversation. She helped us find a great table and even shared some fun stories about the shop. Her welcoming personality really set the stage for a wonderful evening.
Anik was our server, and he was simply fantastic. He took the time to explain the menu, answered all our questions with a smile, and gave us some awesome recommendations. Thanks to him, we discovered a few new favorite pizzas!
And then there's Asif, the magician in the kitchen. The pizzas he created were out of this world! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor. You could tell Asif takes great pride in his work, and it showed in every bite.
Overall, my visit to pizza and gyro was a delightful experience. Nemra, Anik, and Asif made us feel welcome and well taken care of, and the delicious pizza was the cherry on top. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more of their amazing food...
Read moreUpdate: Went back a little while ago and saw that the seating placement was rearranged- made the place look more open, inviting & functional. Also, just recently noticed a response from managements appreciation on the feedback. I think that’s great! Still a fan of the food so will continue be a regular.
Halal Food - the chicken tikka rolls (must try!) & their chicken tikka pizza is👌🏽 and for dessert their toasted almond cake is always a good choice or their mango ice cream. ⭐️⭐️
Service - decent ⭐️ (1/2)
Cleanliness- decent ⭐️ (1/2)
Not a place you would want to dine in at, best to order your food and leave. The seating is odd - the booths are usually moved too far apart or too close, because they move and people will move them.
Chairs are worn, no consistent theme of the look they are going for and things don’t look stocked or filled then the lighting makes it look like they are closed.
Service is usually decent. But, the food is what makes them.
I will say the only thing I did try on their menu that I did not care for was their burger and it was overly done and dry.
So, I do not stray away from my personal favorites when ordering here! Overall, would recommend...
