(I have no names for the employees, so I will be physically describing them). All I ordered was a large coffee. The coffee was fine. However, the service was TERRIBLE. The girl in the drive-thru window did not say "Good morning, hello" or at least "thank you" when I finished my order. I always greet and thank service workers. Even when I said thank you to her... she didn't say anything.
Instead, she was TOO busy discipling her co-workers. Like what the h*ll. I don't know if she is manager, or shift lead. But what type of person belittles their co-workers in front of customer. I can tell you that NO GOOD manager would do that. I have no idea what her name was, but she was a Black young girl, kind of Chubby, black glasses, her hair was in a tight, slick-back bun with burgundy/colored highlights. How can she be expecting so much from her co-workers when her, herself has no manners towards guests. Maybe she needs to go through another re-training. Because what I saw, on a Sunday morning... was crazy. If you aren't in the mood to go to work, then call out or quit and find another job.
In customer service, at the very bare minimum, you make your customers feel welcomed. Especially when the customer has been nothing but polite. Anyways, after going through the drive-thru, I needed to pick up on more thing; So, I went into the store and I was met with a girl, she was maybe Latina, skinny, with light hazel/brown eyes. She was at least kind and actually had a smile on her face at...
Read moreSadly this is my local Dunkin that I've been going to multiple times a week for years now, but won't be going back. They definitely hired all new people for the summer, and needless to say it's not going well. You're always looking at a 20 minute wait minimum, and that's with going straight to the speaker in the drive through. Typically there has been 3 cars in front of me (once I order!) And it's worth it to just turn your car off & settle in, you're going to be there a while. I've gotten a different drink each time I've gone lately, because they can't seem to make one right, so I was hoping to find one that they could. The first time I ordered an iced mocha, the guy asked me if that was a type of coffee. I should've just driven away then. They also no longer attempt to make their signature drinks, my favorite for a year has been their Cocoa Mocha, this location no longer does it, they make an iced mocha and act like nothing is wrong. Today was my last straw, when I ordered a frozen mocha swirl coffee and it was the most bitter thing I've ever tasted. I've noticed the coffee being off a few times, but nothing going home & adding my own milk or creamer couldn't save, but today was downright disgusting, I took 2 sips and threw it out. I will no longer go here, especially with a McDonald's around...
Read moreMy mantra is if you hate your job or working with the general public… QUIT!! I could’ve had 4 bad reviews before this one, but I chose to give the benefit of the doubt. Usually the afternoon and closing crew are the individuals that tend to be the least customer friendly. The team or the individual who drive a white Chevy Caprice, didn’t bother to take my order last night when they had six minutes before closing. All I wanted was a coffee because I was heading into the office for late work catch up.. but the reason why I say this is because on last week the same thing happened when it was 12 minutes before closing and they acted as if they didn’t want to take my order, again.. I blew my horn in order to get someone to come and still I ended up waiting three minutes before someone actually decided to come and take my order. Should I get there a little bit beforehand, absolutely! The fact of the matter is you should acknowledge the customer and not yourself unless you are in a situation to defend yourself! I really avoid coming to this location due to its unfriendly staff! I hate to say it but this generation of young workers are lazy and incompetent; who thinks we owe them something. All-in-all I will not be returning, instead take my money 8 minutes up the road where I am...
