When we arrived it wasn't super busy but only one staff member was helping customers. My son started to become overstimulated and was coasting up and down the line touching the glass and the counters. I tried to regulate him but as I got up to the register I felt like the cashier was annoyed with my son for doing this and was very short with me taking my order. I was getting munchkins for my kids as a treat for good behavior and my oldest was ordering ice cream. While I was paying my mom who was watching my middle son returned from the bathroom with him or attempted to return. Logan dashed behind their ice cream counter for a few paces before my mother got a handle on his arm. This was enough for an employee (Mamager or owner)to start screaming at him to get out. She yelled for him to look her in the eyes and that he was going to listen and to get out and again to look her in the eyes. I had managed to get to them at this point and I shielded my son from her and raised my voice and told her she does NOT get to yell at my child like this. Especially an autistic child. I was so furious. She then turned away from me to my mother and for some reason said "you know I love YOU." I was so furious that I grabbed my donuts and my boys and left while it was pouring down rain because I could not stay in a place that my family was not welcome. I honestly wanted to run out without the donuts but my kids had been so excited to get them and Logan would not have understood. I'm sorry that my family was such an inconvenience to you...that my son was so excited to get donuts and that sometimes he gets overwhelmed and skips or glides or runs and doesn't understand and cannot "look you in the eyes." If you would have taken the time to help my child or guide him out in the five seconds he was behind a counter but instead you decided that my child was just bad and wouldn't listen and have an attitude toward me and my son. I have never experienced something as bad as this and I left in tears and I will never come back to this place again. I am sorry that I tried to be brave and take my kids without my husband to try and make their day with donuts and ice cream because they love it. As a family with a child with a disability this is my worst...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've lived in Stafford for nearly 12 years and have never eaten Dunkin' Donuts before. I had a bad experience many years ago at another location in Fairfax and vowed never to eat their donuts again. Out of the 3 known Donuts Shops in the area plus various Grocery stores that also make and sell prepackaged donuts I usually get them from either the pricier Duck Donuts, or the Sugar shack or buy them at the store. Today I decided to give Dunkin' Donuts another try...and I can tell you that I have no regrets. I was impressed by just how clean the store was when I arrived, the employees were all busy working cleaning and refilling coffee and such in spite of no other customers in the store as it was nearly 11am... I purchased a dozen donuts and 2 small cups of coffee with cream... The lady who waited on me was friendly and helpful and very quick in filling my order. The price was great and I had no complaints whatsoever, I was in and out very fast. Once home I couldn't wait to taste their donuts and I can tell you with no uncertainty that they were absolutely delicious. A little smaller than everyone else's donuts but still very yummy and the price was reasonable. They were very soft and fresh and the coffee was hot and very tasty. I can see why my son loves Dunkin' Donuts...he buys his kids fresh donuts every Saturday and brags on how great the coffee tastes. Now I see why. My only complaint, if you want to call it that is that their small coffee is very small. A little bigger than a toddler cup. I was expecting something comparable to other places but still it was very good. I will be returning here for my donuts and coffee in the future. If they continue to make fresh donuts and tasty cups of coffee then they have me back as a loyal customer. Next time I'll buy the medium coffee so I'll have plenty to dunk my donuts in... Great experience. 2...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to be an employee at this establishment until I received an extreme amount of disrespect from the Managers who run the store every day. None of them know how to respect and talk to employees NOR customers and fail fundamentally on any level. Employees tend to do their jobs far better than the managers themselves and still continue to get yelled at. They are very racist to employees as well, especially those of African descent. If you're not from Pakistan, they hate you, and if you are, they still probably hate you. They put on a guise of kindness but once you've been there too long the beasts show themselves. I was a sandwich maker, and there were many times they tried to make me use things that I dropped on the floor instead of throwing them away. The donuts are no longer fresh made in the morning like they used to be, they are factory delivered every day which would explain the extremely unappealing look and awful taste most days. Final Note: Whatever you do, avoid this cesspool of hatred and terrible business practices if you want to have a good rest...
