Firehouse Subs Centreville Square — Restaurant in Virginia

My Smokehouse beef and cheddar was great. But more importantly was the exceptional customer service. There was some confusion with my wife's sub. I think it was a mutual misunderstanding. They took the first sub back to make another the way they thought she wanted it. The manager brought out the second sub to make sure it was what my wife was expecting. It was not. The manager offered to make another, but my wife struggles with wasting food and was concerned that they would just throw the sub away. This is where the manager really impressed me. She took the time to listen and understand all of my wife's concerns, and she did it in the right order. She first gave us an option that would not waste the food, and then she found out specifically what it was my wife wanted on her sub and had one made exactly that way.

Just to satisfy possible curiosity about the issue with the sub, it was a veggie sub. The basic sub comes with peppers and such. My wife just wanted lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and black olives. These are all generally toppings. They thought she wanted those as toppings on the base sub when she said all she wanted on the sub was lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and...

I wish I lived closer to Virginia just so I can come here to get a quality sub. This reminds me of a Potbelly's with much more style and pride. They also have a huge section of different level (1-10) hot sauces. I tried the level 9's and 10's, and Wow - pretty damn good. It's called spontaneous combustion for a reason...

I ordered a medium (7-8 inch) meatball sub and it was one of the best meatball subs I've had in my life. The cheese was properly melted over the 5 meatballs jammed into the crispy bun. You absolutely won't be disappointed. My parents split a large 12 inch, which they could barely finish.

The fireman's theme is very kid friendly and the color coordination reminds me of a big red clifford the dog commercial. It's probably because I recently saw that children's book where clifford becomes a fireman.

The worst customer service. I went to pick up my online order which supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. When I went to store I waited for 10 minutes and nobody offered me any service. I asked about my order and someone told "YOU NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES" without any courtesy. I replied I can wait and told them what kind of customer service this is. The lady told me if you can't wait just leave and don't come back. I requested to speak with store manager, the lady said I am the manager, this is my store I can do what I want to do and I can say what I want to say. Her name is Nisha and she was the store manager. It is terrible have rude and mean store manager run this franchise store. She has strong Indian class attitude.
