Be careful of the deception here! I asked Ms. Kim (after she repeatedly asked me about it) how much extra it would be to shampoo my hair, and she told me just $3. I predicted that she would exploit the language barrier and pretend as if she had said something else when it came time to pay. Sure enough (just as I had predicted) when I went to pay there was an extra $10 charge. Not a big deal at the end of the day, but I didn't agree to the extra services I only wanted a shampoo for the $3 fee she mentioned while I was sitting in the chair. This is what we call deception, and I would have much preferred to be treated like a human being instead of being herded and pushed around the room like a sheep that gets it's yearly shearing.

Ultimately, they treat customers as if they are dumb livestock, my haircut was mediocre at best. Ms. Kim pushed so hard into my scalp and skin with the trimmer it almost drew blood. She cut the top of my hairline too which should never be shaped or cut. It might be just work for them but for most people haircuts make them either feel good or bad about their appearance. It goes without saying that once again I am disappointed in my choice to come here. I simply chose convenience over quality - I am going to restrain myself from coming here again - first because the haircut was mediocre and borderline painful, and second because of the belittlement of customers.

It really is hit or miss as to who cuts your hair here. I once had a pleasant haircut here and I was happy with the results --- however, it was not Mrs. Kim who cut my hair and neither was I 'tricked' into an upcharge for MVP services. I explicitly asked how much extra shampoo was and I was told it was just $3 dollars. Please don't insult people’s intelligence this way! It's really unprofessional; do you really think that people are too stupid to know or analyze what's going on?

You are exploiting people’s humility, cordiality and composure - you are taking advantage of that fact that most people (myself included) do not want to yell at you and put you in your place at the cash register when it comes time for us to pay. Shame on you for insulting our collective intelligence.

Now you get to be shamed by this review indefinitely and live in infamy on Google reviews for trying to be tricky/sneaky...

Had Ruth as my stylist. I wish I had read the reviews of the poor father who had his kids hair butchered. I had a similar experience. No one else there and she was rushing. 25$ for the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Asked for #2 on the sides and scissors on the top. She never used scissors. She went way to wide around my ears and left tons of stragler hair all over the place. She trimmed my beard when I didnt ask her to and it was uneven and awful. She just flopped the trimmer against my beard line super fast and without intent. Now I cant fix it and have to shave completely before an important and suit and tie dinner. Just wanted a quick clean up and got a hack job. Had to straighten the back of my hair by myself at home with two mirrors because on side was rounded and one was 90 degrees. Had to fix my bangs because i have no idea what she was thinking when she cut them. Went against the wait I told her I wear my hair. It was like it was a game where she does the opposite and tries to make you look bad. I dont think this person ever went to school or is close to legally blind and doesnt wear glasses. I was pretty sure the guy before me had the back hairline in the shape of a lego. Short in the middle and longer boxes on the edge on either side. I mean what the heck is she thinking? Or maybe she isnt. Stay far far away for price and awful haircuts. Could have done a way better job myself. Not even going to embarrass her any further...

I normally come here all the time. I went on 11-2-206 to get a hair cut and the lady really messed up my hair it was all different lengths. SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CUT HAIR AT ALL.. I said why is it all different lengths and lady said well so sorry you are stuck with this hair style now.. I got up and left before she could completely screw up my hair. I immediately went to a Barber shop up street and he laughed and said my back of head was really bad. she must have been a drop out in beauty school.. Now i am stuck with a botched hair cut since new barber shop could only make look better she shaved so high up on side that i look like i have MOHAWK...
