Simply put Gummy's is the Best of Soul Food around! You will not go wrong with any meal you get from Gummy's! Your taste buds will jump out your mouth just to thank you hooking the taste buds up, yea their offerings are that darn gon good 💪🏿🙌🏿

Food : ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟's • For their food, I give them 5 🌟's..! Seriously ain't nothing to explain! Yea it's that Darn-Gon-Goooood...!!!

Service : ⭐⭐⭐'s • For their service I gave them three stars. Reason for that is because : • location -the food is banging and but their location doesn't match the vibe their food brings! • Location again- the place is nice on the inside it caters to a maximum 50 of people. But It's mostly ideal for couples and small families of 3-4 people. • Location Again- (Outside) : As said earlier their location doesn't do them any favors more does it match the vibe the food brings! They're located in like an big apartment house that's been gutted to accommodate businesses, and the pavement leading up to the location is all beat up, potholes here and there and lose pavement! These things combined are not good for customers vehicles! • Wait Time : their wait times is a killer! From 30 mins up to almost 2 hrs wait time of the day is overly busy for them. I'm not exactly sure but by my count I think their staff consist of 5-6 people! So far I've only put eyes on 4. But either way their food is way too good, for the place to be small as it is and the wait time does them no favors!

Atmosphere : ⭐⭐⭐'s Size of Restaurant • I give them 3 stars and the reason why is because the place is to small! This food is darn gon good so you know folks gonna wanna come and bring families! The place can't cater to many or big families with big orders!

As I wrap this up, I must say Gummy's food is an enjoyment and it has been a while since I've been in Virginia (3yrs now) looking for a great soul food spot to cater to my wife soul food tastes!

I pray that Gummy's receives all the support from the Father our Abba Yahuah in the name of the Holy Lamb Yahusha HaMashiach and his Rauch Hokodesh (Holy Spirit) that you all get the location you need that matches the great vibe your food brings with all the space needed to accommodate your customers of large families, with the parking spaces to keep their vehicles!

it was my first time eating at this restaurant me and a friend of mine went there to eat, and my boyfriend joined us later. I ordered a sandwich and my sandwich was good however it was a couple sitting across from a man and a woman African-American. So from the looks of it, I could see when the waitress took their food to the table. They both had two different things off the menu. The man passed his significant other a piece of meat a pork chop Office table and I heard and you can see her face. It was like something wasn't right then laid on he was eating and he kept eating and looking at eating and looking at it then he put it up to her nose for her to smell it. The waitress is the on his daughter,. The woman called the owner's daughter, the waitress over to her table and was speaking to her about something. It was very low so I couldn't hear it, but I know that she was taking food off a plate and putting it on the neck. Shortly after that, another woman came, which I was told she was the owner. She asked her what was wrong and the woman was trying to speak as slow as possible. The owner of Gummies said you can speak you can speak you can speak so I think the woman was making a complaint of myself that she was like it's not wrong with it. This is what the owner is saying it's not the wrong with it. It's not wrong with other people eating it that that person had it. Nothing is wrong. Everything was in the same batch so how was something wrong with your food and she's yelling at this woman so the woman just completely just shut down you could see she was pissed and say no more. Just because eggs come out of the same car and don't mean that you won't have a bad egg. If the customer said the room, the food don't smell good or it don't taste good. It shouldn't have been no debate. The next question should've been how can I help you? She did not address that professionally at all. I know it took everything for this woman to hold herself back because the way she was speaking to her as if she was a child. And this is why Black people business sometimes do not succeed because they don't know how to treat...

This review goes to Wen Peppers and I wish I could reply to your review directly but I can not! None of what you said is true and it was not pertaining to YOUR experience at the restaurant! Why would you come on here and half ass write a review (because I couldn’t even understand what you were trying to say) …. on the behalf of another customer? You should have proof read your review before publishing it. I was in Gummy’s picking up an order during this time. The owner was not yelling, they were actually laughing with each other. I’m a regular at Gummy’s and the customer service is always a 10 out of 10! Feels like you are just over a family members house eating!! To anyone reading reviews I would suggest to go to Gummy’s and experience the vibe for yourself! This being a Black owned business has nothing to do with the customer service and Wen you should be ashamed of yourself for even trying to compare the two! Michelle (the owner) is amazing!
