Hardee's — Restaurant in Virginia

Their shake machine was "not working", but I couldn't be too upset considering I couldn't find any place where the shake machine was working for the last 2-3 weeks! Then had to wait until I got to the window for the young man to finish ringing up my order while I was driving up and then I was given a total. I was then asked to pull up to the white line and wait for my food (for around 10-15 minutes); and I still can't figure out what it was that I was having to wait for considering the 1 meal and 3 extra sandwiches( that I paid almost $30 for!!) tasted like they had been sitting for a few hours and the fries weren't very hot at all. I had ordered my and my husband's favorite sandwich that we have never had a complaint about and trust me, we like our fast food. So I feel strange having to say something negative about this place, but I have to be honest in my review so people can go there, or not, with a little bit more knowledge...

We are on vacation and went to this location excited to have Hardee's because we don't have them where we live. We pulled up to the drive thru and waited. No one greeted us. We waited longer. No one greeted us. Finally my husband said "hello." No one said anything. He said "hello" again and was about to just leave and go inside when someone finally asked what we wanted. He started his order and turned to ask me what I wanted and all of the sudden a woman came over the speaker and said "he's out there hollering "hello" and doesn't even know what he wants." It's common courtesy to greet a customer and tell them you will be right with them or say something, anything when they get to a drive thru. He wasn't yelling. He was trying to figure out of they knew he was there. At that point we just left. It was rude. Thanks for the famous Southern...

The food was very good, especially since I don't have a Hardee's where I live. But service was lousy. The lady who waited on us at the register wasn't very helpful or hospitable. You could tell she really didn't want be there. My wife didn't get honey mustard with her chicken tender meal, so she ask for it. She said the lady looked at my wife like my wife killed her dog as she handed her the mustard packets. I went up to ask for ketchup packets and she gave me a look and handed me about 30 packets. WHO USES 30 PACKETS OF KETCHUP?!? The customer service isn't really a priority. Overall, the restaurant was dirty, not filthy dirty, but like it hadn't been kept up that day. The ac didn't seem to be working and the were buckets placed the restaurant. I would visit there again, but i would hope they've improved...
