It's edible. I would describe it as one step up from mall food court hibachi. If you're hungry you will be satisfied and the taste will be good enough. With some changes this place has potential to be great with their food, but isnt quite there. I ordered the salmon and shrimp hibachi, the salmon wasn't a full filet, it was unfortunately a slither of a filet. At least it had decent flavor and the skin was kept on it. The veggies were soggie in juice and the rice was just okay, but tasted better once I added the salad dressing yum yum. The shrimp was a nice size and well cooked, but could br greater. Hands down my favorite sushi place in the area! It's always so fresh and delicious. We typically get spicy salmon rolls w/ avocado added, spicy tuna rolls, yellowtail rolls, and/or special rolls (Midlothian, 007, Sakura, or the Rainbow roll). The hibachi shrimp is also really good, but it's not quite the same as at a traditional hibachi restaurant. I'll also add that getting bad avocado in a sushi roll happens at pretty much every single sushi place, so I'd personally ignore those reviews and skip the avocado if you don't want to risk it, but we've been getting spicy salmon rolls with avocado added for years and have only had unripe or brown avocado 2-3 times and like I said, we've been ordering from them for years (usually 1-3...

This is the BEST takeout hibachi & sushi joint in Chesterfield. We always stick to shrimp or chicken hibachi (ordered during lunch & dinner) and it never disappoints; their ginger dressing is refreshing & flavorful. For sushi we usually get the California roll, shrimp tempura & volcano roll, they are always well made ( example: the cucumber is diced to matchsticks instead of chunks) to us it's those little things that take them above the rest, the food speaks for itself.
