Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Virginia

I ordered a roast beef sandwich and the meat was rare and flavorful, which is my preference. The sandwich was good, but not crazy good. One concern was value: I paid $13 and change for a regular sized sandwich and 22 oz. Coke, and with tip the total was close to $15. The staff were cordial and professional, but there was a long wait, partly because people were ordering multiple sandwiches at the same time. I do wonder if it would help to have two people working on condiments/prep, once the meat is sliced and place on bread. The day I visited, the grill was broken, so there were no hot subs available. Not sure I would return; probably would choose the Market at Exxon stations or Wegman's. Update: returned recently and had chicken Philly sub. The sub was good but the order took FOREVER. Food is good, but if it's a peak time you will want to avoid. I walked in at 11:50am on a Sunday to order a sub to go. There was 4 groups ahead of me in line. I walked out with my food at 12:35pm. I waited 45 minutes and there were FOUR groups in front of me. Everyone there was working non stop, but they kept making online orders so the line took 45 minutes. When I was leaving, I counted 17 people in line. While I understand they have to make the online orders, they may want to put a sign or warn about the unusually long wait times for walk in customers. Stopped in today (5/9) and the sandwiches tasted great. However, it was $26 for two sandwiches and two drinks. Looking at the receipt it was almost $4 per fountain drink! The tables and floor were not clean. The fountain drink machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in weeks. There was also a lady who put drink in her cup, took a sip, and then proceeded to put the cup back under the filler and fill it the rest of the way. With her saliva all over the cup. There was also a employee with very long hair, which was up in a ponytail but her hair was slinging around and she kept touching her hair while performing her work tasks.
