We have ordered from Joe's for around a year now. There are a handful of things that we always like to order, one being mozzarella sticks. They have always come in 8's and tonight we got 7. We treated ourselves to onion rings and my daughter got tuna salad. The tuna tasted off, the onion rings were an incredible shade of dark brown, and again, only 7 mozzarella sticks had 7. I called to speak to a manager. The gentleman said management was to busy to talk. I started with the onion rings, he acted like he didn't understand what I meant, I told him we only got 7 mozzarella sticks and he said that it only comes with 7. The menu says 8, my receipt says 8, two weeks ago it was 8. He said they recently changed the amount and he's sorry that it wasn't changed on the menu. I said either way it says 8 and so does my receipt. He puts me on hold because I ask to speak to the manager because I want going to sit and argue with this guy. The guy gets back on the phone and tells me if we look at the bottom of the menu, they reserve the right to change the menu without disclosing it to the customer. He did offer to send new food and have me pack up the bad food and I asked to just refund the money. I told him that I would prefer not to because if the rings tasted bad now, why would we want another? Why would we want one mozzarella stick? And you think I'm going to want anymore if those onion runs. No thanks. He argued with me and I told him that I should've been speaking to the manager because I really didn't need to sit here and argue. I'm going to dispute the charges. Read moreIf I could leave it zero stars I would. The only reason I attempted to order from here is Pizzarama in Haymarket is closed on Mondays. The kids wanted pizza; we wanted pasta and subs. Right after I ordered my husband changed his mind on the sub and I called to cancel it and increase the size of the pizza. When I asked to change the order, the night manager which I believe is the lady was completely nasty to me, told me that she would have to cancel my transaction and then re-charge my card again holding up two pending charges with my bank. When I asked her why she charge my card because I was doing carry out & said I would pay at the store she said no place I ordered from will complete your order without a payment(I originally wanted delivery which is why I gave my card but the wait was 55-65 mins). So I asked her to cancel the whole order cause I didn’t want two pending transactions holding up on my bank account. She then proceeded to scream and shout and hung up on me. When I called back and specifically asked not to speak with her the guy told me that the transaction was canceled but there are no receipts. After ordering the exact same thing from this place, the exact same way for years - there was a glitch in their online system and the specifics of my order didn't reflect on my order confirmation. I called as soon as the order confirmation came through and spoke to a female of whom I had never spoken to and was extremely unprofessional and rude. She claimed to be the manager and OWNER of the place. I was repeatedly told that I should have called sooner (as if I am psychic and knew that this one time out of many, there would be an error on their end). Not one single time did I get an apology even though I sat on the phone for 20 mins and was told that my food would be delayed for another hour more. I was also told that there was a glitch in the system in regards to the price that I had been paying and that I would be charged $6 or $7 more. When I said that I was shocked that as a manager or owner, she wouldnt apologize for their glitch, my wait time and seemed to be treating me as if I did something wrong, she yelled and screamed and said she had nothing to apologize for and didn't care!
