Awesome candy selection, chocolates are great. Love their business model with earning points. Major flaws. The number one no no when I worked retail? Cell phones. They were never supposed to be out, let alone were you supposed to be messing with yours on the floor. I stood directly in front of the girl behind the register tonight, and instead of even acknowledging my existence for the first minute, she insisted on exchanging numbers with a coworker?? Totally. Floored. Second biggest no no? LEAVING UP OLD SALE SIGNS. Usually if we left the sign up after the sale ended, we ate the cost and gave the discount. I saw a sign for buy 2 get 1 free topp’d bars. Lucky day. I grab my three, the sale doesn’t ring up, I point it out, she calls the manager (god I hope he wasn’t) or whoever he was for all the 45 seconds he stood there, he tries ringing it up again, acknowledges the sign is still there, but doesn’t even look at me when he says “nope sale must be over” and walks??? Not that I insisted on the discount, but just common courtesy that a customer didn’t get her sale? The only person who apologized briefly was the cashier who had previously been on her damn phone. Even the customer behind me agreed, signs up, it’s on you. I’m not holding you to that though. I’ll stick with disrespecting your damn customers. I told her I wasn’t buying anything then and walked, heard her say “you’re not??” I just laughed and said “hell no.” If you guys want to play on your phones, forget about sales signs, and blow off customers, work retail that doesn’t have a high customer count like you guys have. Y’all are too BUSY to be doing that. You need to make your mark more than I need candy. Unbelievable. Won’t be returning...
Read moreVisited August 2025: Michael was the cashier/representative that evening. We went in there to check and compare the price on Dubai chocolate, which we had just bought elsewhere. That quick check turned in to such an experience that we just ened up making a small purchase just because Michael was so cool. His service was exceptional. I just love his personality and vibe! He is so perfect for a store like this, but really, he is perfect for everywhere. We need a Michael in every type of establishment. He said he had two weeks left working at L&P. That saddened me. But just know he treated us great and that makes all the difference in the world to people.
They have a good selection here. My daughter and her friend went crazy when we let them loose in there the last time we went (before our August visit). It gets pricey, but I guess it has to be for them to stay...
Read moreTo start with the dude working behind the counter had no idea what he was doing. He didn't know what chocolates were what and wasn't listening to what I was saying when I was trying to tell him what I wanted. Second he used a glove to grab the chocolates but then opened the bag with his bare hand and shoved it all the way in and put my single peices of chocolates in the bag. When he went to ring me up he didn't even know what he had put in the bag. I also got the Cocoa Dusted Truffles and they looked like they had gotten to warn because there was no coca powder around them and they looked like they had start to melt and deform. I love this chocolate store but this current location is not that good which...
