I had an extremely disappointing experience here. I finally went in after months of debating and reading all the rave reviews. I really wanted to love it, but this is what happened: I went in when no other customers were in the store so I thought, "great! The employee working here should be able to explain everything to me and give some great recommendations!" Wrong. The girl working there (there was only one employee at the store) was at the register on her phone. She glanced up at me for a second, and then went back to her phone. No "Welcome in", "how can I help?", no acknowledgement whatsoever. I walked around the store aimlessly since I wasn't sure what the protocol is because of COVID, such as if I am allowed to open the sample jars to smell the tea or not. The girl at the register not once said anything. I was beyond disappointed and turned off. As a customer, especially a first time customer and being the only one in a store, I expect an employee to explain how it works, give some suggestions, etc. just like any other store would. I really hope that the manager or owner sees this review and talks to that employee because her behavior was unacceptable. I went on Saturday June 12, 2021 around 3pm or so. The employee appeared to be Caucasian female, and probably a teen. I really really really wanted to love this place. I most likely will come back since the teas seemed so intriguing, but I will be coming back when a different employee is...
Read moreTea is wonderful, service was inexcusable. The employee behind the counter on December 20th was very disrespectful. I understand running a shop by yourself is difficult. I was a barista and I currently manage a hospital. I patiently waited in line for 10-15 mins, there was a mother and a daughter behind me also waiting. When it was my turn she took my order and then proceeded to help the family behind me. I had a simple order so I thought maybe she is just juggling clients, until she proceeded with asking them questions like “is this a gift” and “what color does the person like”. She never asked me these questions, and yes it was a gift and yes they have a favorite color. So I let her know. She proceeded to care of the family running to the back to find bags for them and scooping their tea when I interrupted and said “I’m on a time crunch, can you check me out”... she asked the family behind me if that was ok? I told her of course it is ok, I was in line first and she sassily checked me out. Maybe she judged me because of the color of my skin or my appearance because was in gym clothes that day. Should have walked away but the person I was buying a gift for loves that specific tea. I’m not one who reviews but I hope the employee reflects and learns how to provide...
Read moreThey've got a great quality of service. I've been here multiple times, and they offer complimentary teas at the front of the store. However, if there was a suggestion that I would offer, it would be to maybe change the flavors more often, and use it to promote the newest or seasonal flavors, so people get a taste of how the seasonal flavors will go. However, the employees are really nice and friendly, offering customized suggestions and allowing you to smell the flavors.
I had the boba from here once, and it was ok. It felt a bit watered down, and it would be nice if it had some milk and sweetness, but honestly felt like I was drinking boba water. I wouldn't recommend the boba, but this store definitely has a great...
