HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The food was good but the owner lacks integrity, and over charged us. We called for the first time to order and requested delivery. The young lady taking our order was speaking with someone else at the same time as us and it was obvious she was new. The person in the background was asking questions and telling her what to say. As we were ordering, she asked what color the menu was we were ordering from. I told her red. She said that it was old, but they would honor it. So, I placed my order accordingly. The backyard veggie pizza. They don't have small anymore, so I made it a medium. $12 - that was fine. Next, the calzone I ordered included up to four additional "toppings" inside. At three, I said that I really didn't see anything else I wanted. She said it came with four for free, so I picked something else. She seemed confused that I may only want 3. According to the menu it was $8.99. The menu I had stated there was no delivery charge but to please tip the driver. She asked if I wanted the tip on the credit card and I added $5.00. Total should have been around $26-$27 including tip. Driver got lost (we live 5 minutes from the place) and we had to flag him down from the end of our driveway for 15 minutes. Took over an hour total to get the food. He said he didn't have any receipt to give me when I asked. So, I checked my credit card the next day and they had charged me $33. WHAT?!? I called and spoke with the manager (possibly the owner). He blamed it on ME for having an old menu (several times). Then he blamed it on the new phone person. Then he placed blame on the driver because he was new also. So, he called me back when he was out of earshot of other customers (I'm sure). He argued for the next 10 minutes until I'd had enough. Obviously, not a very wise business man. He lost our future business, possibly the business of some people we speak to and maybe some who read this. We order in a couple of times a week and just thought we'd give them a try. It's a shame that the manager doesn't understand customer service. You don't tell people one thing on the phone, then overcharge them. They actually charged my card twice but voided one. He lied about that too. He said that they put a charge through without the tip the first time but that is not true. Both charges were for $33. He argued with me for at least 5 minutes about that too. I was looking right at my credit card charges online while I was talking to him. I think they realized they overcharged me and voided it. Then decided I probably would never figure it out, so they recharged the same amount. Bottom line - I won't ever buy from them again. I will not patronize a business with unethical...

Updated Review: The same night I wrote this review, we ordered two pizzas from Mangino's. The driver called me (literally) and hour an a half after I place the order and said that he was lost. He asked me to come outside and meet him. I went outside and waited ten minutes, I called him, he said he was still lost. This cycle went on LITERALLY for 2 hours and fifteen minutes! It was late and my son hadn't had dinner yet. The owner told me that he was sending one of the waitresses out with two fresh pizzas. The original driver finally found the place after three hours. The pizzas were freezing. All was forgiven since the owner sent out fresh pizza and cake to rectify the situation.
We ordered from them two more times and the first time, we waited an hour and a half, the second time, we waited two hours. We ordered from them again the night before last and we waited two hours and forty five minutes for our food!
The next day, I noticed that we had multiple charges for $3.99 on our credit card. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner. He said that the vendor that they use for online orders had a glitch in their system and they were working on getting everything reversed. I told him I was calling my back and was tired of dealing with their nonsense, therefore I would never order from them again, from there, I hung up the phone.
Five minutes later, the owner called me back and left the following message:
"Your phone says to leave a brief and detailed message, so I don't know which one to leave". Common sense tells you to leave as much detail in as short as message as possible, so how was this rude comment necessary? Horrible customer service. From there he says, "I have been through our records and I don't see the charges, so you should call back and apologize for hanging phone up in my face".
Who leaves a customer a voice-mail like this? Especially one who you screwed over several times and they continued to give you their hard earned money. This place is incredibly unprofessional and uncourteous. The owner and employees...
Read moreReady for this everyone?? Well here it goes, I order a few subs from this dump a few days ago. My coworkers and I were having a sit down luncheon. Don’t remember the exact time I ordered the subs, however, the team received their lunch from pizza hut ate their food and I was still waiting for mine and one of my coworkers sub. It was getting late and our one hour luncheon was over, therefore I contacted this dump aka as Manginos to cancel. They were not happy and their response was, we are busy today. My coworker told me it was a good hour that we waited!! This dump is 3 minutes away by car. Well low and behold I looked at my bank statement and I was charged for food I never received! I contacted a Sean who claims he is the manager, and he was down right rude and said he was not going to reverse the charges because they took the time out to make the food!! Really!! I told him that I was in the restaurant business and good customer service is , the “customer is always right” he went on to say that that was a myth and if he had to he would take me to court , so not did he not reverse the charges but now I was convinced that this Sean who cant speak 2 words English doesn’t know anything about good customer service. I am now working with my bank to get my $17.95 back and I’m sure I will. You see Sean, you should have worked with me in a professional manner and made your customer happy! Instead you chose to work against me argue with me and act like the FOB you are!
