I am an avid Marcos lover. It’s my go to pizza place, but today - this store disappointed me and was not apologetic that my entire order and experience was wrong. I wanted contactless delivery (and for the second consecutive time), they knocked on my door. Something I can ignore, except when we opened the pizza and it didn’t have garlic crust & Parmesan on it. Also something I could usually ignore. However, we then opened the wings - they were plain instead of sweet chili which became problematic.
This all comes after the coupon codes that Marcos sent us wouldn’t work on either their website or the app (when they specifically state it’s those options only), so we spent more money than expected. While this part is not the stores fault, it is an overall bad experience with Marcos.
When I called the store to tell them what happened, there was no apology, just blame placed on the new delivery driver. I was told they could remake it, but we’d have to come get it. I requested a refund. The manager came on and told me that they could remake everything, but we’d have to give back the pizza and wings (which they would then just throw away and I am at home and ordered delivery for a reason). I am at home, it is well past dinner time, and we are hungry. So naturally - you eat what you have because there isn’t enough time to wait another hour or so for a whole other meal when it should have been correct the first time.
They then offered me a credit, but not for the full meal, just for the sauce for the wings. Not the pizza nor the wings, just the $2 (or whatever) the sauce would’ve been. And in the middle of last year we start getting told that they no longer deliver in our area but we will see them in our complex delivering but every time we call to place an order we're always told and they don't deliver. Approaching into the new year we called again to place an order we were told after we picked our order up that they deliver in our area again so we placed an order a few weeks later to be told by one of the representatives that was a young lady that I apologize but we can't deliver to your address I said excuse me what do you mean by that she says I'm not sure but I will pass the information on for a general manager to give you a call never got one I had to actually call back 3 days later to find out that because they keep messing up on my pizzas that I am paying for not being made like I want them to to no longer deliver to my address and the simple fact is the general manager is Chris giving me circles I have contacted corporate office on him twice no one has contacted me back on a professional standpoint no one wants to pay for anything that they did not ask for so if I want my wings cooked extra well done I should get that if I ask for my pizza to be cooked extra well done I should get that not a soggy pizza and expecting for someone to pay for it make the order right and you won't have any issues and someone should have told me this long time ago instead of allowing a whole year to pass for me to find out what was really going on I know that the corporate office or someone needs to give me a call immediately or I will continue to complain about the unprofessionalism that I...
Read moreI don’t usually use this Marcos, it was on the way, so I stopped by. I had placed my order online, bc, I had to be somewhere. Arrived at the store, no hello, or welcome. I mentioned, with a smile, “hey here to pickup the pizza”, which was the only one sitting on the shelf. Have a name and was handed a pizza. I opened the box, (red flag) pizza not fixed exactly like I ordered. I questioned why? Was told, they were out of the crust topping I wanted. WELL DANG!! I thought. So she handed me a handful of Parmesan 🥹🥹🥹🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮. No call or anything from Marco’s. Wasn’t happy but needed a pizza for dinner. I asked for a garlic sauce, bc I didn’t see one in the box! I was told, .78 cents. She said it wasn’t with the order at the time it was placed. So I declined. WELL DANG!!!!! I thought. Took the pizza and Parmesan, 🤢🤢🤢got home it didn’t have the double sauce on it. Just bland tasting. I was upset!! The pizza was just like the establishment, no personality….I can’t recommend this place, bc, the one person that I saw there working, was not happy with her job. Wasn’t a people person, at all! I paid for an extra large with 12 slices.
