McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

UPDATE 12 -31-22 wow yet again this location went over and above experience! Better than Chik FilA even. The GM Angela Twine was so kind and genuinely helpful as I was looking to have lunch hut also find certain happy meal toys for my ESL students. She had them and helped me. She and I had the most amazing conversation and I can tell she loves her job she said it's her passion and it truly shows. My husband travels for work so I see a lot of McDonald's on the east cost...I have to say out of all of them this one stands out as the BEST I have seen on the whole east coast because of the fantastic management and atmosphere they create!!!! Well done Angela & staff$ I saw her staff member Monica running around adding extra service and sweetness in the dining room making each customer feel valued. Thank you All McDonald's should follow this one!!! ............. my old first review I'd below this was just an update I had to include!!

(Weeks ago)This location has a great guy Demond on the team. My burger was wrong but he made it right and with kindness and a smile as if I mattered even when busy with lunch rush. I like being treated like a person not a number so thank you Demond!! Plus this location is great for sitting and socializing or reading a book while you eat,,,great atmosphere! Oh not to mention they delivered food up faster than other McDonald's I have been to...

This used to be a good McDonald’s. I don’t know what happened. We have tried several times to go back to this McDonald’s but it’s a total waste of time. They are slow, rude, impatient, and just don’t care about the customers. The last time we went was about a week ago just to get a shamrock shake. That’s it. The guy who took the order couldn’t even speak full words like the word yes. We pull up to pay. No hi or anything. Just complete ignorance. Then we pull up to the next window to get the shake. The lady said the machine was down for a shamrock is a Oreo one okay? I said no thank you please just give the money back. Both girls rolled their eyes at us and closed the window. She then opens the window and hands me my shamrock shake. White with the green syrup at the bottom (maybe a tab stirred) you could obviously see it’s not a good shake. I said to her so is it working now? Is this good? She SHOOK her head at me and closed the window. Did not say one freaking word to us! It was horrible! I tried and took a sip of syrup.. I tossed the whole thing out. Every time I try and give them another chance it gets worse and worse. Take the extra 5 mins and go up to sliding hill!! They were so friendly we literally wanted to tip them it was so fast and everyone who we spoke with was pleasant, humble, and cared to serve. Don’t Go...

This place is the worst. Went here for dinner they did not return my debit card. I called a short time later maybe 30mins and went to get it. The next morning checking my account I discovered a second transaction on my account that was used without my permission while my card was still in their possession. I called to figure it out and find out who used my card and why and they did absolutely nothing. The Manager Angie is a complete joke told me she was going to look at video and didn’t and was nasty and rude and after talking and trying to get it worked out and seeing the transaction posted told me to “just come get my 13.00” I wanted to know who used my card to press charges but nothing was ever done. I didn’t even receive my 13$. I won’t be going here ever again. sad bc I did like this McD’s since this is my community. Either way I decided to give it to God. Bc clearly someone else needed that 13$ more than me. Merry Christmas!! Either way it was malicious. If you eat here and pay with car get your card back quickly. I also asked for the Managers Manager no avail. Wish I could give 0 stars. But the 1 is for the older bald black lady. She was very nice to me....
