McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went in for an interview two sundays ago and they said they would do a background check but only saw my iD and told me to come back later I came back a couple days later after receiving an email saying they would not proceed with an interview which was confusing because I already did and I’m waiting for a background check that they never did so I had to go and get one done. The manager Malika was very nice on this particular day we had a schedule worked out that would fit me they said I could start on Thursday. well I got a text stating to come Friday to start I was there for one hour and the first thing the manager says is we did your background check right?. I was appalled. And before she talked to me I had been waiting for about 40 mins and she knew I was there she sent me home and told me that on Saturday would be my first real day and that the previous schedule would be switched to not fit me so I would have to wake up at 5 am to be there for work. So I went home and came back the next day because I needed the job. And immediately the manager asks what’s your name? on the first day. Well the first and only day consisted of what was supposed to bring training, was yelling at me for doing stuff wrong that they never taught me apparently the "right way" . They said we will teach u on register and left me after ringing one person up. I asked for a break to calm myself down and was refused at 12pm when I started at 8.And apparently you are not guaranteed breaks here. So I had to fake go to the bathroom to get away. The coworkers are rude and act like you are supposed to know what your doing and if you do it wrong then they will yell at you but state that your the one that needs to be calm and then yelled at multiple customers and refused to fix the situation they caused with the customers. The food here is disgusting. Ik things can’t be pristine and clean but I don’t think they even clean the store they touch the fries and stuff with there fingers and no one uses gloves.they will open sandwiches and when i got my order of fries some fell out they lady who was training me took the the ones that fell...

I hadn't been to this location in more than a year, and I can see how the service has somewhat deteriorated. Firstly the store is a complete mess, the bathroom wasn't as bad as the dining room area, and it looks like they haven't ran a mop through here since this morning. When I came in there were at least ten customers waiting for their orders. Most of them did not appear happy to be here, and I overheard a few customers complaining to the employee about the extended delay for their orders. I ordered a Big Mac sandwich with small fries through the app. After about 8 minutes o waiting with everyone else, I needed to ask one of the employees behind the counter about my order. I appreciated that she took care of my order at that moment and I was able to find a spot at a dirty table. This e Big Mac was decent but the small fries for$2.50 was absolutely positive not worth the price. They were kike warm and the only saving grace was the three packs of salt...

I have never had a worse experience with mcdonalds than I did last night, 5/26, at around 3AM. The woman at the window forgot my drink, and when I reminded her, she angrily snapped at me. The french fries were all dried out and leathery, the chicken nuggets were soggy and tasted unusual, and it was pretty obvious to me that the food had been sitting around for a very long time. It was inedible. Further, the sweet and sour packet I ordered had been punctured and leaked all over the bag. Quality at Mcdonalds is usually great--you know what you're going to get every time. I have never once had to throw out the food from a Mcdonalds, until last night. If you're going to be open 24 hours, you can't just leave the food out for multiple shifts. And I did not appreciate the unprofessional behavior from the woman at the window. I will be going out of my way to avoid this location...
