Synopsis: The service here is bafflingly bad for as much as McDonald's costs now, just go to any other places nearby (see the last paragraph). You'll end up having to get out of your car anyway.
Maybe they'll get it together one of these days. I've never lived anywhere where a McDonald's is this bad at...literally everything. And I lived in a tiny country town where the McDonald's hadn't been upgraded since the 90s. This place is deep-in-the-landfill garbage.
There's always something missing or wrong with my order requiring me to go inside (or attempt to get the drive thru person to fix it). And it doesn't help that the people who pass off your food try to rush you off when you're checking your bag to make sure they didn't mess your order up again. This happens no matter what time of day you order.
Today was especially idiotic. Ordered breakfast, was told the juice machine was broken, so they couldn't serve juice. Asked for water instead, because I and my child cannot have coffee. Was upcharged for the bottled water, and when I asked why, there was a whole lot of stuttering just for me to ask that I speak to them at the window. Was then told that they couldn't take off the upcharge, since I was paying through the app (guess I'll be turning that off from now on). At that moment, I decided I'm never coming back. Was not interested in speaking to a manager either. When I got to the pickup window, magically the juice machine worked. They still didn't take those bottled waters off my bill.
I don't know if maybe they just haven't been trained, or the turn over rate is so high that management doesn't bother. But - again - I've never been to a McDonald's where the service is so utterly bad and chaotic. There's also a possibility all the managers are in the back coked up. I don't know why, but it does seem like the work environment there is toxic; they don't really talk to each other, and don't seem like they want to be there.
I gave it two stars, because we occasionally get really good service (though, they'll still mess up the order), but I think those people left to work elsewhere.
I know this review doesn't matter when it comes to McDonald's, but if you're passing through, there's a sub shop, burger joint, and Mediterranean fast food in the shopping center with the Walgreens off Old Keene Mill. And a Chipotle, Popeyes, and some other eateries in a separate shopping center directly across the street for McDonald's. If i can rate 0 out of 5, I would do it. The whole chain of their management is horrible and so their customer services are. This is not my first time to make an order and a lot of times, they always packed my order wrong, by their mistakes or by their not working well running their management. The last time, recently i ordered a pie along with my order and I got no pie. This morning, i made an online order for the 2 Sandwiches and clearly stated on the receipt one of them doesn’t have cheese and egg because we have food allergy. They packed like their regularly without checking and when I drove home, I found out it wasn’t made per request. I was so mad to call them. They picked up the phone without saying any applogize or any word of sorry to the customer, instead of offering another sandwich. The first lady even said she was not the one to pack my order. What is the team work right here to serve the customer. I told her I don’t know who was in charge of packing the food, but you should be saying in a nice different way. You should be trained again to be a team work and skills of being at least being a customer service. The second time, another lady picked up the phone and hung up on me again. Let me telling you, customers don’t need a subsituted sandwich before your sincere apologize. Everyone has a very busy time to drive back and forth to get a $2 subsituted sandwitch. I called their even twice and they both hung up on me and the third time, i called back to request to talk to their manager, the lady said she is a manager. I thought she can resolve the problem, instead, she was asking me again for a sandwitch i want and they made it wrong the 3rd time even I already stated clearly on the phone with her. i had to drive back another route to get it. Is it worth it to deal with the whole store management lack of their responsibles and their ignorance. I hope they can fix their managament in the futute to better serve their clients. Sorry, I never come back to this store and I hope they can treat their customer better in the future. Read moreLived in the neighborhood all my life 20 plus years this location constantly messes up my order and then I have to come back and get them to fix it. Today was the worst experience I've had when it comes to customer service. As I sat there and explained my displeasure in how they messed up my order yet again and the manager rudely spoke down to me in a way. As if I was nothing. And then the manager told me to leave and not to come back even though I'm a constant customer. Who has been coming here 20 plus years day in and day? Out for the convenience of the location and everything else but today? Will be the last time I come back more than likely even though I come to this location to. Get? My dinner and stuff out of convenience because of my time schedule for work. I am just utterly. Disrespected by the way that manager handled that situation and And then she refused to give me her name when I wanted to follow a complaint about her to corporate whoever whoever the franchise of this location is. Hired a very poor employee for a manager to represent their location.
