I placed an order which was 6 chicken sandwiches and a large fry, I accidentally placed the order with the wrong delivery adress and the other time I placed it my order was stolen by the driver, called Uber eats and they refused to listen to me saying that the location is the one who’s supposed to compensate me and I talked to the African American manager with no hair and kept raising his voice at me saying that they can not do anything and I talked to the general manager on the phone and she said they would remake my order. I told them I’d call at 4:30 and they said that’s fine I was busy and called around 7 and they kept declining my calls purposefully and blocked my number and I went to the location and the same manager called the cops on me because I told him the general manager knew my story and promised to remake my order but he refused got mad and called the cops. All I wanted was my order and Uber eats said talk to them and the literal general manager said they’d remake my order but this manager the African American one refused because I was there the night before asking if I could pick it up another day, so I waisted 100 dollars and got the cops called on me, great. Never have I ever had to pay over 100 dollars for 2 seperate orders that I’ve not gotten but Uber eats can’t do anything for me and the general manager of the store literally promised to remake my order I talked to her on the phone I don’t know why the balding African American manager that’s overweight threatned to call the cops because literally Uber eats said contact the store, I asked him just to remake one of the orders not two knowing I’d lose out on 50 dollars but the manager that was working at the time the African American one got short tempered and threatened to call the police on me which makes me so mad he could’ve just remade my order and no problems would’ve happened but he is the one who wanted to escalate the situation I don’t mind deleting the review but I never got my food seriously I paid for 12 sandwhiches and they didn’t even want to remake one even when the general manager promised to remake my order. The manager handled it so immaturely when he could’ve been like “look I’m sensirly sorry that happened to you but the general manager is not here so we can not remake your order” even though the general manager told me that remaking my order would be completely okay and this manager with the mask handled this so badly it was my first time ever ordering with Popeyes and the fact that I got yelled at by this manager and threatened to call the cops on really makes me cry because he could’ve handled it responsibly but got short tempered and threatened to call the cops. I just want my order which was 6 samdwhiches i paid for it twice and the general manager promised she’d remake it if I called at 4:30 which I couldn’t because I was stuck somewhere with no gas and this manager that I spoke to yesterday really hurt my feelings because Uber eats told me that Popeyes would compensate me for my order and the general manager said she would remake it and the fact I paid twice for it and he threatened to call the cops really makes me wonder if some human beings have no sympathy any other food place would’ve remade my order and I offered to show him everything including Uber eats response and that is when this manager yelled at me and embarrassed me not only in front of the customers but the employees. I am still willing to forgive as long as this location remakes my order which I was promised they would not only by Uber eats but also the general manager of this location because the manager I spoke to ruined my night. Not only yesterday but today as well, all I want is my food which I paid twice for and Uber told me that you guys could compensate me I don’t know why this manager escalated the situation very rapidly… very unprofessional from the manager who was on the night shift because calling the police for wanting an order isn’t a valid reason it’s not like I was causing a scene or something I was just asking politely for them...
Read moreThis is the location nearest my home so Ive been a numbers of times. At least the last two visits the chicken on the order was very-very dry and really not edible. I thought the last time was an anomaly but now I am not sure. I threw away all the chicken after a few bites. Not sure if the bad (overcooked and very dry) food is system wide or just this location is poorly managed. Also the Red Beans and rice was very minimal. The regular size cup is about 1/2 filled with probably less then a TB spoon of beans and a few Kurnels of rice on top. Im guessing too much enfaces on trying to profit (not throwing out old, tired or too small chicken pieces and half filling the RB&R cups) not enough on quality control. I think I am done with Popeyes, or this location anyway. Im editing now. I saw the managers response.... the food I was sold would not be up to nobody's standards, not just mine, I dare say you wouldn't eat it either. Throw old old tired chicken thats been sitting too long. When your employees find a piece thats too small, throw it out. Fill up those cups with beans and rice, stop trying to game the system and profit an extra 3 cents. Mediocre food rolls down from the top, and you are the only one who can reverse that. Do Better and you wont get bad reviews. Im not a Karen either, I think Ive done this (leaving a bad review) maybe 2-3 times in my life, only when service/food is really very bad and potential customers deserve to hear before spending their hard earned dollars. The Popeyes chain deserves...
Read moreI've been to this Popeye's restaurant quite a few times and have had mixed experiences. The food is generally good, but the customer service is consistently poor, the management seems uninterested in serving the customers better, and the serving staff do not prioritize their duties properly.
Having been behind the counter in a previous life, I have come to appreciate that good customer service can generally overcome deficiencies elsewhere. It is frustrating to wait in line for an extraordinary period of time without any acknowledgment or explanation from the staff. And on several occasions the food order has been wrong (missing food, wrong pieces of chicken, etc), and I have had to make a return visit to get the order corrected, which is a waste of my time.
Additionally, orders that I’ve placed via the mobile app have taken in most instances more than 10 and up to 20 minutes longer than the expectation that has been set via the app. Furthermore, the management has seemed to be disengaged and unconcerned with improving the situation. I witnessed several instances where customers' concerns were not adequately addressed, and the staff did not seem to be held accountable for their behavior.
This seems to be a franchise restaurant where direction from the owners contradicts good common sense customer service behavior. I would choose a different Popeye’s location if you have a hankering for...
