This used to be a 4 to 5 star place for me. Shawarmas were always consistently good and service was always great.
However, in my last visit, my wife placed an order over the phone and there was some major miscommunication. My wife simply wanted a single entree of chicken kabobs with rice. When my wife called in, she said she wanted an entree of chicken kabobs with rice. The employee asked, "how many kabobs?" My wife specifically stated that she wanted food for one person, but that didn't seem to register with the employee. My wife didn't understand why the employee was asking how many kabobs she wanted, so she said, "6 kabobs, I guess, but for just one person." Then the employee asked how much rice she wanted, and my wife said "enough for one person."
When I went to pick up the food, I found a tray of 7 skewer kabobs and just a handful of rice. Now, my wife definitely misunderstood the question when asked how many kabobs she wanted; however, she was very clear several times that she only wanted 1 entree, with only enough food for 1 person. Why did the employee even ask how many kabobs she wanted? 1 entree should mean that there should be a standard number of kabobs with a standard amount of rice for that dish. Secondly, why didn't the employee try to make sense of the order itself? 7 skewer kabobs and a handful of rice? She should've clarified the order. Instead, I go there and am charged $32 for so much food. When I tried to tell them it's too much, the same employee from the phone simply said, "well we've already cooked it."
This clearly shows that this employee has zero understanding of customer service and how to word her questions properly. Yes, my wife misunderstood a question and made a mistake, but the employee should've had the competency to understand how to take an order properly.
I would've given this place at least 3 stars, but after all that, and paying $32, the chicken kabobs themselves were incredibly dry. Neither my wife nor I could really eat them because of how...
Read moreI have been a customer for over 20 years and I will never go back. My family and I had purchased some grocery items and then purchased a fatayer from the counter. After checking out we were handed our plastic bag and then as we were about to walk away we were handed a brown paper bag containing a fatayer. As we were walking out to our car we were in the parking lot when one of the ladies that worked there came out after us. She then proceeded to scream at us and accuse us of stealing that fatayer in which we were HANDED under the assumption that it was the one we purchased. We had purchased a single fatayer so when handed that and told that it was ours we didn’t question it as we thought it was the single one that we had purchased. I have never in my life been so shocked by the service I was provided and the complete ugliness in which she handled a situation that was solely their fault. To be accused of stealing and making a scene for a mistake on their part and then she never even apologized for her mistake is...
Read moreAs soon as I opened the door, the aroma of cooked food was filled in the air. It smelled so good! It was almost 10 AM, the kitchen staff still preparing food for the hot display. The only thing that was ready were the Fatayers. I ordered a Chicken, a Beef, a Beef with Feta cheese, and a Spinach with Feta cheese. They were decent size. I couldn’t wait until I get home, so I pulled out the Beef Fatayer. The ground beef was seasoned perfectly, and the dough had the perfect consistency. It was delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try other food on their menu. I don’t remember if there was any table to dine in, I don’t believe so. However the building was converted to a small convenient store filled with products that you wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. They also offer fresh baked goods. The baklava was filled with crushed pistachios. Layers were flaky. You have to check out the unique little shop /...
