Sept. 21st my daughter’s party was flooded with USED toilet water (biohazard). As shown in the pictures below, the chair circled is where an employee was stationed to monitor/contain where the sewage was spilling from the bathroom. Because he was playing on his phone the entire time instead of monitoring the sewage flow, it managed to soak and damage our belongings that were placed at the bench alongside the wall and continued down to the door on the other side. Again, this is used toilet water in a public facility contaminated with urine and feces that managed to spread 10ft + under the “watchful” eye of the surge employee. Take note of the minimal cleaning supplies & wet floor sign usage.
The gentleman circled is our party host, who had to stop attending to our party due to staffing shortages to assist with the sewage cleanup despite the fact that Surge Adventure Park boast in their online booking for party packages to allegedly have “…the most attentive party hosts in the area! Our party hosts are dedicated to making your birthday party or special event a positive and unforgettable experience for children and adults alike!”... It was surely unforgettable but for all the wrong reasons.
Upon checking out, I was then charged twice for our party. We were also provided the contact info for upper management and advised that we would either receive a full refund or a free party. I opted for the full refund to which management assured me they would refund the accidental overcharge as well & will confirm the additional reimbursement with their supervisor and would contact me back. After 3 weeks of having to contact management back after not receiving call backs I am then told that management said they will do a partial refund and throw in free passes. I asked the manager to confirm the partial refund would already be initiated the same day and that I would still like for management to honor their word and issue the full reimbursement. He claimed he would initiate the refund & speak with his supervisor again. This was stated last week and no refund/passes has been honored and I can no longer reach anybody from management on the phone.
After this experience I would NOT recommend using this venue for birthday parties. This incident was disgusting, unsanitary, and a huge health biohazard to say the least and based off the response from upper management they could care less. This company clearly has no integrity, inattentive staff, questionable sanitation processes and staffing shortages. Save your money for other trampoline parks that actually have integrity, care about the cleanliness of their establishment, customer safety and...
Read moreI took a chance having my son’s party here based off mixed reviews. A fight broke out when we were there. My party time was suppose to end at 9pm and we had to stop at 8:40pm for out safety! This should have never happened. The jump area is not watched and managed properly. I do believe it’s because it’s Soo many younger people working there, it being over crowded , parents aren’t staying with their children. One child in my group got knocked down because of how rough people were playing & no one who worked there called them out & asked them to stop. Even the seats to sit in we were at risk of getting hit because no one was being watched & they were running & jumping on the walk area into the pit. During our entire jump time I only saw 2 ppl who worked there in certain areas. The toddler area is not safe either & I had to take my child out of there. Definitely disappointed. We spent too much money to have to end our time for our safety. From my understanding a manager was not there that night either because my party host had to get me to sign a paper receipt & told me their manager would be calling me on Sunday to confirm my balance. As of Monday evening no one has called me. Compared to sky zone I never experienced so much chaos & being unorganized. I only had conversations with 2 ppl who worked there & they should be acknowledged for how they treated me. To calm my anxiety I went in a day prior to my party & asked for a manager. I guess one was not there but the young gentleman at the counter walked me through, showed me where our table was at & calmed my nerves. Day of party check in was hectic & the venue seemed over crowded. The regular check in line was out the door. But our party host was always polite, he checked in on us multiple times & any questions we had he answered, stayed respectful & professional even though it was a lot going on.t watched. I never complained to our party host because at the end of the day it was nothing he could have done about our complaints. He did his job but my over all experience was horrible. I did not pay all of that money to be fearful of my chi playing! That fight would have never happened if the play area was being monitored & people could have asked groups to leave or even step out of that area....
Read moreI live in the outer city and traveled 45 minutes yesterday with my son to another trampoline park on Midlothian turnpike that happens to be closed on Fridays, I had no idea. So we traveled another 25 minutes to this one! Anything for my little valentine. We were pleasantly thrilled at all the features this one has including actual foam pits! There is even actual climbing walls with harnesses, just blown away that we were going to eat up every minute of the 90 minutes we purchased. It was relatively quiet, there couldn’t have been more than 20 people, including staff, present. After an hour my little guy saw some guests getting harnessed for the climbing structures and asked if we could do it too so we made our way off the course and to the climbing area. The tall gentleman with the curly hair and nose ring couldn’t have made us feel any more UNWELCOME. It was clear we interrupted him sliding the harnesses in front of the enclosure, I’m pretty sure one of his eyeballs bounced off of me during his giant eye roll and exacerbated sigh. I can imagine this area has lines on weekends so I’m not sure what kind of strain we were imposing by walking up to try it. But now for safety reasons I encouraged my little guy to go do something else and we walked away. The last 30 minutes were very awkward as that employee may have actually been a massage chair salesman. While we jumped all over the park he was posted in several of the massage chairs.. I really wanted to try those myself but I had a job to do.. Anywho, arcade could have been better if the games worked, honestly it must have eaten about $8 of my $25 but I didn’t want to further my disappointment by trying to hunt someone down after my encounter with the massage chair guy. When we checked out at the prize station we were helped by a very nice gentleman, he was wearing a medical mask and had braids, (wish I had looked for name tags) but he was so sweet and helpful and very patient while my 5 year old picked out his treasures. Overall GREAT time, they just have a bad...
