Mission "sauce " BBQ. I have to agree with 1 review posted about the dry brisket. If you get the lean cut, I guess it's best to get the brisket earlier in the day. The 3 meats lacked flavor and depth. You can smell some smoke and taste a hint of smoke but that is all. Does the brisket have any seasonings besides salt? Maybe some brown sugar, black pepper or vinegar? The only flavor on the turkey that you could see was pink. The turkey lacked flavor as well hence the "sauce " in the beginning. As you can see in the pictures, everything looks bland. The turkey had the flavor of those prepackaged meats. Just salt water solution. The pulled chicken was an intense salt bomb mixed with lots of gristle. If you add the Bay b que then you're in for a salt hangover. After checking the nutritional website, I see why I tasted some much salt. Let's take the Brisket (Meat Market 8oz) Lean with 1,173.09 per serving and then I add some Bay b que at 395 per serving im now at 1,568.57 in sodium. My issue is not with the salt but the lack of flavor and all of the salt. The cornbread stole the show. It's not a 5 star but it was the best item that com with the meal. Soft, moist and it tasted of corn. A sweet bread to complement a small sprinkle of flavor. Not sure if you have a non pork scale for those that do not eat pork. But that's something to think about if possible. To include employees changing gloves when touching pork/ non pork. Unless all items are cooked together then maybe a notice would serve best. Overall, if you like this place then continue supporting the business. Everyone has different taste buds so 1 or 2 stars will no change the publics opinion. From the outside looking in, Mission BBQ does great work supporting the troops and first responders. The two-minute shut down at noon is a nice tradition and the decorated wall of those who served is nice to see. Also, the dedicated parking spots for those who served.

Have ordered online a few times and the food was ready very quickly by the time I arrived. Accurate each time and the food has not disappointed!! It's very good!! It was recommended by friends and I've only had the BBQ with a few sides (baked beans, slaw, potato salad, cheesy potatoes, mac & cheese and banana pudding). There are several sauces to choose from and we like the Memphis sauce the best. If you order BBQ (no sandwich) there is usually some cornbread served with it. It's tasty enough I don't feel the need to add butter. The customer service has been EXCELLENT each time I've picked up an order. Only thing I wish is that there was a curbside pick-up instead of having to go in every time. Nowadays, it's nice to have curbside if you are not feeling well or have young kids or a disability when you are just picking up an online order. Other than that, they are a great option for those who love BBQ and other smoked meats (ribs, brisket, etc.). The sides in my photos are potato salad and mac & cheese.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. The staff made it a great experience for our family and took care of us during our lunch visit. Our kids enjoyed pulled chicken, mac 'n cheese, and french fries. The french fry sides are large portions. A side of the fries was more than enough to feed three kids. The pulled pork, chicken, and "wet" brisket were delicious with a good balance of smoke and natural flavors. The green beans were a great side to compliment the meal. We also enjoyed the decor that celebrates service members past and present from local law, EMS, and fire, as well as our National service branches. We will definitely visit our local Mission BBQ again soon.

The show of support on Veterans Day from this location was phenomenal! Thank you for the lunch and cake! I came in with my family. We dined in, and the line was long yet still moved pretty fast. Our table had pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The bread for the sandwiches seemed harder than normal, almost stale today. I have noticed that the mac and cheese has been on a steady decline at all locations for a while. It's hit or miss, most of the time it's a miss. Coming to the table dry and barely warm, which was the case on Veterans Day. This is sad since I paid 10$ for a pint of it for it to come out cold and dry. I would have said something, but the line was so long already I didn't want to hold anyone else up. The coleslaw is nothing special but does go great with the pulled pork, especially if you top it all off with tupelo bbq sauce. My son likes to put the mac and cheese on top of his pulled pork sandwich! They gave slices of cake to veterans today on top of a free lunch! The cake was very tasty, and the slice was big enough to share with my son. Your staff on the dining room floor was very helpful and friendly. They took care of our trays as soon as we were finished. Overall, we enjoyed celebrating with you guys and hope to...

We love Mission BBQ and each of us have our own favorite sauce. The 4 stars instead of 5 for this location is because it is kind of messy inside with the sauces pretty gross to have to touch while you are eating and the BBQ had big globs of fat. The issue with fat was only during our last visit, but it was pretty bad. For some reason, they do not have the hand wipes at this location, which would've helped with handlingthe messy sauce bottles and holder. Also, I don't know who the lady was in the dining room...I'm guessing a district manager....but the employees seemed far more interested in coming out to chat with her than pay attention to customers. The only other Mission we've been in was in Charlottesville and it was sooooo much cleaner and well stocked. Still, we will go back, but will specifically ask for BBQ without big globs of fat to see if that helps. Generally, we love the food. The mac and cheese is fantastic as are the fries if you are eating there. For take-out, skip the fries. The Memphis Belle BBQ sauce...
