Mr. Sushi & Mrs. Roll (Ashburn) — Restaurant in Virginia

As a huge fan of Mr. Sushi/Mrs. Roll in Lansdowne, decided to come out this way to support their new location. Being that this was during the initial opening, there was a little bit of a wait but it as no more than 15 minutes during a very busy time.

The food was excellent. As a fan of their fried rice and baked salmon roll, I decided to compare with the original location. The food was delicious and it was served fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and the restaurant clean.

My family and I had a very terrible experience. The female server was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me and my family. Her tone was condescending and her customer service was absolutely unacceptable. Frankly, she has no business being in the hospitality industry. To make matters worse, the food didn’t make up for the bad service. The sushi was subpar—bland, poorly rolled, and far from fresh. We’ve had better sushi at grocery stores. Do not go here if you have a gluten allergy - they will not take it seriously. I ordered online & called immediately because there wasn’t a place to type about packaging my rolls separately from the others due to an allergy. They said the rolls had already been made (getting someone to go to the kitchen took several minutes) but said they’d take care of it. I got home with my order (mistakenly didn’t look at it before pulling away) and my rolls are in a separate box and the whole side of both are covered in eel sauce and tempura crunchies so I cannot eat my food.
