4-29-23 this place is highly recommended by everyone we meet. However the 2 stars are for the most attentive service from the best carryout staff. Otherwise this visit was horrible. Considering this review is from a new resident in a hotel awaiting furniture and closing on a home we were highly disappointed and do not recommend for the great inconvenience the kitchen created for us. We made the mistake of ordering at Leesburg but driving to Ashburn. One of us still picked up the food from Leesburg and since I was at Ashburn I ordered a few extra items. The chubby guy in a pink shirt was extremely rude in his response when I asked where is the entrance? as the patio appeared to be in the back of the bldg. He barked his response like I was stupid and didn’t bother to greet me or even acknowledge me as I walked by him. Once inside my order was just being received although I had waited about 45mins before coming inside. Maybe the kitchen rushed for that reason but I did not receive my special requests for a warmed dessert and more importantly the three & four year old took bites of a pink burger before we caught it because we asked for well done. We absolutely do not feed kids pink meat to prevent parasites! The broccoli included in the same container as the burger had at least 1TBLS of water sitting even after soaking the bun up. We had no way to cook or nuke the pink burger so in the trash it went along with the frosted cold cobbler. I was fuming but calmly called and spoke with an apologetic carryout person who transferred me to manager. She was most gracious and tried to make me feel better comping the burger and dessert also offering two comp desserts if we returned which we don’t foresee. The order from Leesburg was perfect as was the carryout experience…every special note was done above and beyond what...

The beginning of our visit here (about 11:45am on 12/15/18 for any management people) started really rough & we almost turned around & left. There were at least 3 waitresses all standing around with the hostess at the entry, laughing when we walked in but then they all stifled their giggling & stared at the ground, not making eye contact & completely ignoring us for long enough to make for a pretty uncomfortable moment. Finally, my friend asked the hostess, who obviously had no intention of speaking to or seating us, if we could get a table. I don't know what that was all about, but it was really weird & incredibly unprofessional.

Thankfully our server (the receipt says Daane) was fantastic -she made good recommendations, checked in often enough but without being bothersome, & was personable. She should really get a raise & her pick of working time slots!

The Chili appetizer is amazing -I can't recommended it highly enough! It's a sweet chili, not spicy, & the flavor is sooooo tasty! We both got Royale Cheeseburgers w/ fries.. the burgers were pretty salty, not really bad or good, just "a burger & fries". While the portion size was good, I'd recommend trying something else. Since it was a cold, wet, dreary day, I got a Peppermint Patty (alcoholic) Coffee -this thing will knock you on your butt, there's so much alcohol in it! Definitely not a drink I'd recommend if you're going to be driving anytime soon. Typical of higher-alcohol-containing drinks, it got a whole lot better as I got about half way through it -lol.

Despite the extremely unfriendly initial "greeting", we plan to return, if for no other reason than to get more chili, & we'll request the same server.. & not take up her table for an overly long amount of time while I try to choke down an overly strong Peppermint...

It is so nice to have a local (not chain) restaurant in the Ashburn Area. The menu has something to please everyone and every day they have a variety of specials that are offered. I have tried several dishes and can honestly say I have never had a poorly prepared meal. If you like spicy wings, you have to try their wings . . . they are prepared like no other wings I have tried in the area and you won't regret ordering them up. If you are a crab cake lover, you won't go wrong here either. They are all crab meat and perfectly prepared. They are normally plated with fries (which are good) but you can sub another side dish like the broccoli or asparagus for very healthy meal. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that all of the staff that I have met are very friendly and the manager stopped by to check to see if we were enjoying our meals (always a bonus to me when the managers are actually out there talking to those dining and not hiding in some back room). Love this place and...

I've been a regular at Blue Ridge Grill for over two years, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the warm, rustic ambiance sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu offers a delightful array of American classics with a twist. The calamari is always perfectly crispy, and the BRG Burger is a standout, juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. For seafood lovers, the jumbo shrimp never fails to impress. Service is consistently top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making each visit feel special. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or colleagues, the atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed. And let's not forget dessert. The carrot cake is legendary. Moist, rich, and topped with a generous layer of sweet frosting, it's the perfect end to any meal. If you're in the Ashburn area and craving a delicious, consistent dining experience, Blue Ridge Grill is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Precious the waiter was incredible and food was really good. I would have liked steak sauce or caramelized onions on my steak. I know with certain restaurants they don't give or offer sauce. I asked and didn't receive any. Price was a little high for two people my daughter and I. Wasn't awful. Service was outstanding at first than we finished and had to wait. To get the check and boxes like at first everyone was helping and bringing out food. Than once we got the food and one refill and than she asked how was the food we told her. Than we finished and waited about 15-20 minutes before we asked for the bill and also boxes from a different staff member. Again our waiter was incredibly nice these are just the things I noticed. I do recommend this place but ask about what you need when you order...I suppose. Also small bit of judgy people who eat there maybe it's the area ...We came from 2 hours away...All in all not bad
