NYC Kings Deli — Restaurant in Virginia

Very rude and so much attitude. I drove about 20 mins to try the pizza here because it was recommended by someone. I get there and the person taking my order was so rude that I wanted to cancel my order badly. I initially ordered a small cheese pizza, then I asked if he had any specials. The look on his face and the response he gave me was unacceptable. I then asked to add on a med pepperoni and a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza. Never said anything about canceling my small cheese pizza. After I ordered he left the counter mad and pushed the swing door hard to get to the back. I was so disgusted with his attitude that I knew when I picked food up that I would tell him about himself. Picked my food up and noticed that my small pizza was not there. He argued back and forth with me about my order. Like I told him, you were so busy being nasty and having an attitude that you got my order confused. He kept telling me that I changed my order, which I did not. I don't eat meat so why would I change my order? And by they way, you don't get greeted when you walk in the door. Bad customer service. I don't care how good your food is, if your customer service is not up to par, I will not return. Never going back. I wonder if that was the owner acting like a...

When I got hm after ordering a “16” Pizza, I kept looking @ it in the box. I kept questioning myself, if this was truly hand tossed or already pre-made frozen crust🤔? It had the look of a 7Eleven Pizza. I clearly dnt eat 7Eleven’s Pizza’s. I didn't see any signs of it being hand-tossed. But when looking @ it, I thought “No Pizza is consistent w/the crust all the way around”, when it comes to being a “hand-tossed pizza”. I called back to the restaurant questioning “if the pie crust was hand-tossed, pre-made or frozen prior to going in the oven for bake?” I was told the Pie Crust is hand-tossed per-made to order. I heated my slice up & it did not taste like fresh Risen Pizza Dough✋🏼. It was deff thawed out already frozen dough.😡. If it wasn't, then that is just as bad. I lost my wallet and COULD NOT find it anywhere. After 24 hours I froze all my cards, but realized there was NO suspicious activity. None. I had bank cards/credit cards/gift cards and cash in the wallet and thought for sure I would have to eat a loss. Once I retraced my steps I realized I used it at the deli last. Turns out I left it on the counter after ordering. They recognized me right away and pulled my wallet out. Everything was as I left it. To be the recipient of this kind of honesty is humbling.
