We are here out of town for work travel and decided to grab a quick bite for lunch. The traffic lanes at this Chickfila are set up differently than the Chick-fil-A at home. I accidentally merged into the ordering line where the sign states to let ordering line traffic exit. Now that we had found ourselves in the line, we just stayed put and waited to order from the 3 people outside taking orders. realizing at this point what happened, we didn't bother to jump out and figure out the traffic situation again since a girl was ready to take our order. She refused to place our order, and followed, I mean literally walked next to my car all the way in the line and around the building since I was going to just order at the window at this point, her still refusing to take my order, even though I admitted I messed up understanding the line situation. The girl said , the couple behind you is elderly, you need to go back around. Meanwhile by this time she could have already taken my order 3x's over. Her comment alone is extremely unprofessional and goes against chick-fil-as customer service which they pride themselves on. The kind gentleman at the receipt stand thankfully took my order after asking what happened. He said he understands the confusion and was sorry she had not taken my order.
I am so shocked at how this girl acted about the situation. Chick-Fil-a in NJ has a much better customer service practice and outshines her snobby attitude. She definitely went against the 2nd Mile...
Read moreLet me begin by saying that I have been going to this location for many years. I can honestly say that I have never had any issues with service until recent, maybe within the last month or so. Orders have been wrong on several occasions, which are usually rectified when I call. My last two visits to this restaurant have been subpar and inconsistent with previous experiences. I ordered 2 combo meals with an additional sandwich and the sandwich for the main meal was absent. Didn’t even call until the next and most recent visit. Ordered large spicy chicken with unsalted fries and unsweetened tea. I received a medium unsalted fries and large sweet tea. Mistakes happen but being a diabetic makes it that much worse. Called management and spoke with a young lady who seemed somewhat uninterested in my issue. Mentioned the previous sandwich that was forgotten and the messed up recent order. Was sent a receipt via email and was told to show staff on charge. She didn’t take initiative whatsoever! Didn’t put my name in the log notifying management of the mishap. Basically just sent me a receipt and said “talk to whoever and explain your issue all over again, I don’t have time for it”. Never even tried to resolve the issue regarding my missing sandwich I paid for! Considering driving to Yorktown...
Read moreA while back I was out with some kids. We were in Patrick Henry Mall and they decided to get some chic fil a. We order as normal but it takes a long time. Folks coma and go but we are still waiting. Around 20 minutes later the manager asks us what we ordered. Apparently they forgot us.
It happens. He gets us set and gives me a coupon for a free chicken sandwich. I didn’t ask for anything but it was a nice gesture and that is what I have always liked about chic fil a. They take care of their customers. If you are going to sell a 7 dollar chicken sandwich you have to make the experience worth 7 dollars.
Today I was out with one of my kids and she wanted to go to chic fil a. I thought that’s cool, I have a coupon for a free chicken sandwich!
Apparently the coupon expired. It was in the fine print. I have been carrying this stupid worthless coupon in my wallet for a few months (how often do you go to the mall chic fil a?). Why hand me an expiring coupon? You didn’t have to give me anything. I wasn’t complaining.
So the folks at chick fil a did not give me a free spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese. I guess they just tossed it. Or they ate it?
Anyhow, these are my only two experiences with that particular chick fil a. I did not find the customer service...
