Today, I went to taco bell for lunch with my family, and my little brother, who doesn’t eat meat, ordered doritos tacos with only cheese in it. Many would say that this is very strange, but imagine it as an uncooked quesadilla and it doesn’t become so strange anymore. My poor little brother was surprised to see that his tacos had the most minuscule amount of cheese in it, and when I say minuscule, this taco had about a dozen cheese shreds in it. In response to this sight, we complained to the counter and asked for some more cheese in it, because he usually gets a taco full of cheese. The MANAGER responded that she couldn’t put anymore cheese in it because it was portion size. She said she could remake them with the same amount of cheese in it. She also said she could give us a tiny cup of cheese for three tacos. It was just completely absurd that a franchise this big can’t give us three hard tacos full of cheese, but they can fill a whole quesadilla up with cheese. Furthermore, we have even gotten this same exact order from this taco bell and they have automatically provided more cheese in the tacos, seeing that the meat was cut out. Speaking of the lack of meat, I am seriously wondering how a restaurant is so inconsiderate to those who are vegetarian. Yes, my little brother isn’t religiously not eating meat; it is his choice. I am wondering what they would have done if we claimed that it was for religious purposes? Would they still have been so ignorant and disrespectful? Moreover, I would like to discuss the price of these tacos. We payed $5.67 for three shells and less than a pinch of cheese. When we go to chipotle, the employees respectfully and enthusiastically say, “of course we can put more cheese in it,” and they also count these three tacos that he gets as a side order, so we only have to pay $1.00. In the end, I am just truly shocked at how rude and inconsiderate they were to us. so, if you want to eat absolutely nothing for lunch, and you want to be disrespected by asking for more cheese in tacos that were basically only shell, please go visit Taco Bell on...
Read moreHad the worst customer service/ordering experience I've ever had here. So bad that I'm leaving my first ever review. I ordered on the app and arrived at the store. Staff said they did not have a record of it on the computer. I showed the confirmation on the app, which said the order had been completed. Guy at the front was like "let me talk to the manager" and walked around the corner. Came back saying the manager says to just figure it out on the app. In the meantime, my friend ordered the exact same items in store. A bag later comes to the counter, but turns out that order had my name on it was actually my original app order that they had "found" after we'd been waiting 45 mins. OK, so can we just cancel and get a refund for the second order that was made in store? No, the guy goes to the manager and comes back saying we need to resolve through the app. So we ended up leaving with 2 orders after waiting an hour. The first order was inedible and the hard tacos were completely soaked through. Fries soggy. At no point did I see or speak to a manager. Just a young staff member who clearly had no clue what they were doing running back and forth between me and a mysterious "manager" that didn't do a thing to help me or this poor young kid that obviously needed some help. Obviously there are no standards or expectations for the staff there. And the manager wasn't even willing to show their face. I was angry, but really I was just so embarrassed for everyone that was working there. They were barely speaking and seemed like they hated each other. The person at the counter didn't even know how to use the computer, which would have showed that my order existed and was completed, and was just sitting on the counter behind him somewhere getting soggy....
Read moreThe only thing that was good about my experience today was the Baja Blast. Waited in the drive through at the ordering kiosk for quite some time, cars piling up behind me. After saying something into the speaker I was attended to immediately, but had to repeat my order four times, as the person was inattentive and distracted. There was nobody in front of me when I pulled around to the window. Got to the window and paid just fine but had to wait more for my food. There was additional wait for my Cinnabon Iced Coffee and when I received it, it looked terrible - translucent tan liquid with the syrup and cream sitting at the bottom, not sure if there was even much coffee brewed into it, it wasn’t made right, didn’t taste good even after I mixed it up myself - the coffee and Cinnabon flavor were barely there. My fiesta veggie burrito was a mess when I unwrapped it - whereupon I discovered I had been given no napkins or receipt with my order. All the soft tortillas for my food items felt stale. I’m a big Taco Bell fan but will reconsider visiting this location in the future, I can deal with the short staffing challenges and extra wait, but staff training, product quality and service needs to...
