Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Virginia

I placed an online order at 6:50 pm. My confirmation email said it would be ready by 7:28pm. I arrived at the restaurant around 7:18 so I sat in my truck and waited a while. It was about 10 customers waiting in the building. I was recently discharged from the hospital that night so I didn’t want to be standing around waiting for an order with so many people around. It’s now 7:34 and I’m standing in the lobby speaking to an old friend who’s been wait g forget pizza since 6:30 and at this point I’m irritated. Long story story I didn’t get my food until 8:05pm and it was COLD and HARD!!! I wanted to call for a refund but I didn’t have the energy so I just went home and made the best of it with my family. CALLED(not online or app) in order for big box dinner...person taking order submitted order and took card info and it was paid $31.09....... 5 minutes after ordering someone from pizza hut called and asked did I want two orders....advised no and explained only wanted one order not sure why two orders made......driver comes with box and hand out looking for cash to pay for order. No cash available only had my card. Kids and I watched the driver walk off with pizza orde and leave, unable to rectify unless I paid again and waited for refund to my card in a couple days. August - one of the workers, is super disrespectful. Ordered through DoorDash, paid $23 for a large pepperoni lover pizza w/ garlic parm on the crust. Received a medium Reg. Pepperoni pizza w/ nothing on the crust or tomato sauce . Called to see if I could get a replacement, august told me because it was through DoorDash they won’t remake it and I have to contact customer care for a refund.
