Taco Bell — Restaurant in Virginia

I mean, this is Taco Bell so the typical 5 star scale is adjusted accordingly. Stars thanks to Mohammed who handled our order! (2nd time was the charm....)

Not a lot of staff to begin with at this location...I came on a weeknight at 12am and with many modifications to my order (potatoes and black beans, extra sauces and no NO meat). After leaving the drive thru (the order came out to a surprising amount with the modifications, it's better and cheaper to order thru the app) we went to the parking lot to check the order and while I'm happy to say there wasn't meat in anything of the items, they were all missing potatoes! Our bill however wasn't missing them so we parked and went into the store for assistance. Mohammed at the front took back the bag and said he'd get on it and that we could wait inside. We went out to get something from the car and one of the workers locked us out despite us explaining we would be right back....alas, we went thru the drive thru once more and thankfully Mohammed knew we were coming - I believe he personally took over making our order. I can happily and a bit incredulously report it was the best taco bell box ever! Piping hot and perfect. Modifications all in place. Made with care. There's always that risk when you bring food back that they will replace it in haste or sloppily so Mohammed's attention to detail and customer service was extremely appreciated.

And he refilled our drink for the delay! I can at this time only say good things about the Bell.

I went from annoyed (at the price difference from my order in the app vs my order at the drive thru) to irritated (at the potato-less food and the additional wait time) to mad (albeit I was also hungry but I felt dissed when one of the workers locked the door on us after we explained the situation) to satisfied the deliciousness in the bag....I will be back to...

Place is just a standard taco bell, but I recently had an extraordinarily irritating experience. A customer ahead of me hadn't asked for a receipt, nor cared to take it, and the employee at the register simply refused to serve anyone for easily a couple minutes, simply because he wanted the customer to walk over to HIM and throw away the receipt FOR HIM. When the customer made it clear he neither asked for it nor wanted it, but the employee kept making a scene the whole time, not serving a growing line, and saying that he personally liked to always give people receipts -- and i repeat, personally, he didn't cite any kind of official policy, which i suppose i'd understand better. This is all in addition to the employee lazily taking his time to even serve that first customer, while himself eating some food. So in all, it's a normal taco bell, but my god, that employee (white and a bit obese, if you're interested, didn't care to catch his name) was awful, not trying to prioritize people, creating a scene based on his own apparent personal preference, and really ultimately just wasting everyone's time. I have been coming here for a bit over a year since the last taco bell in Vienna (off of Maple Ave) closed. The people at this location are relatively nice but I have had a few times where they made a few mistakes on my order, primarily leaving out a few items. From Taco Bell as a whole, I often like most of their items, such as the chalupa and crunch wrap surpreme. Don't forget to ask for Diablo sauce, it is by far the best sauce. The promo items also known as "let's see if this works" items, are really terrible. I have tried the potato burrito and would not recommend, ever.

As per the location itself, it is not too difficult to find, being near two main roads and has an easy turn lane. Sometimes during rushhour, it is very difficult to turn in here not to mention the drive through being totally packed. I recommend ordering through the app if possible. They have been following covid protocols and the location is quite clean. I feel safe going here.

Though it is a fast food restaurant, I always recommend Taco Bell because it is a quick location to eat, the food is decent, and you cannot...
