26 March 2024 update!!! The Tops China manager just called after reading my post below. She was shocked and knew nothing about the problem with my order. I'm so glad she reached out! I meant what I said in post below, I haven't had Chinese food since then, but I will tomorrow!!!!! REINSTATING A 5 STAR RATING
I've not had Chinese food since this happened because I love their food and when I order I know what I will be getting. The rating comments below were during COVID. I've been a customer for many years, and I'm sad to say I am no more. During a 2 week period, items were missing from two orders, which had NEVER happened before. I didn't call the first time, but did call the second time. A young lady who answered (not the manager who has always been pleasant and helpful) said she couldn't help me because it was an online order, etc. I couldn't believe it and hung up. I called back hoping someone else would answer. The phone was answered and immediately hung up, which I guess means they have caller ID. After this happened with 8 calls, the last time it went to voice-mail and I left a message that I wouldn't be ordering from them again. It's really disappointing, I love their food, but I can't tolerate this low level of customer service and why my initial 5 star rating went to 1 😞
I can't wait for them to reopen, I'm going through withdraw!! Food is great, delivery is fast, and never any problems...

I was a loyal customer to TC for some years now but today, they showed absolutely zero care to take my order but instead, call me an hour after placing my order online to tell me they came to this address before and nobody answered. I have roommates that also order from here so let's get that out the way. After they called me an hour later, I thought I was getting an ETA or courtesy call to look out for the driver. Nope. The owner really had his employee lie for him an entire hour as some sort of sick payback to a customer who's done nothing wrong to them. They know who I am too ( Orange Naruto Slides Guy ) which makes this even worse. After the owner finished his way of "slapping my wrist" he actually asked me did I still want to order. AFTER purposely delaying my order an hour.
Thanks but no thanks. I really loved the food here but theirs not a single food in the world that would allow me to be disrespected this way especially when I order so often and tip well.
So heed my warning and take your hard earned money elsewhere. Top's China truly doesn't care about the customer. Apparently they love to get even......even when they're doing so to the wrong person!!!

Read moreFirst, the order online option was down. I had to call and spoke to a gentleman who could barely speak any English. I understand that it is a Chinese restaurant, but it was frustrating when he was trying to rush through the order and kept yelling, "Hello!"
Then, I asked him if I could still get the 5% discount because I was unable to order online. This is what the website advertises. It's not my fault or job to keep up with their website. Long story short, the answer was no.
I waited for an hour and then had to call the restaurant to see if my order was on the way. Again, I have to speak to the guy I can barely understand. What I got out of it was that my order is on the way, but he couldn't give me an estimate.
Food finally arrived and, of course, it was cold. I tipped the driver, but I really didn't want to. This is not the only experience with this restaurant. I was not impressed with the food or service before, but today's experience sealed it's fate with me.
I am done with Tops China. If you want good Chinese food with good customer service and quick delivery, I suggest Chef Huang's in Alexandria who also delivers to Fort Belvoir. It may be a little pricier, but is way...
