Just so it's known, I love Tropical Smoothie and I visit them several times during the week but after this visit, I will be thinking twice before returning. I placed my order on-line. When I went into the store, my sandwich and chips were on the counter but not smoothie. It was not a big deal for me b/c I could see that they were busy so I waited about 15 mins. after several names had been called and still I had no smoothie. At this time, I said to the worker, "do you have a smoothie to go with this order on the counter?" She looked at the receipt with a confused look, to me, it appeared that my smoothie had been forgotten but any way, she said that it would be up shortly. By this time, I am checking the temperature of my sandwich. About 10 mins. later, my smoothie is ready and I say "thank you for the smoothie but my sandwich is cold". The young lady went and got the manager who asked me what time did I place my order. I said, to her that it did not matter what time the order was placed, the order was not complete when I walked in the door. She proceeded to tell me that they were busy and making smoothies for other customers and my sandwich sitting on the counter while they make the smoothie was not a reason for them to remake the sandwich. She was not trying to hear anything I said to her like the fact that I had been waiting 20 minutes while others were being served etc. etc. I was not trying to make a big deal out of it, I work customer service just like they do but I did expect for them to satisfy my request. They didn't have to remake the sandwich, they could have just warmed it up as far as I was concerned. But they did absolutely nothing. I was very disappointed in the quality of service or lack of. Read moreSunday the 12th I got two smoothies to go from TS. Normally we get excellent service and great smoothies so I am hoping we just hit a bad day because the service was awful. I got the two smoothies home and my husband's smoothie was not even close to what I ordered for him (I didn't check before I left because I have never had the type he wanted in the past so didn't even know what it would be anyway. Should have known it should be orange not white). Although it was incorrect, it was also not drinkable at all! I drove all the way back to TS and returned the wrong smoothie. (Mine was correct and delicious, I always get the same thing). The cashier had obviously been crying while I went home. I think the name tag pinned to her hat said Pamela but can't be sure. A young gentleman who was the only other employee there both when I first got the smoothies and when I returned said something unkind to the cashier that upset her more while I was there. I was very polite and asked to get a correct smoothie to replace the one I drove home and back that was incorrect. The cashier was obviously flustered and the young man made another smoothie while slamming things around like a child. No refund or coupon for a free smoothie next visit, no apology, just attitude that she rang up something completely different according to him and her fault. Read moreThis is probably one of the worst Tropical Smoothies I've ever been too as far as customer service. Today was my 1st time coming back to this location in 3 weeks. The last time I was here I had the same experience as I did today. I told myself that hey maybe it'll be different this time....but it wasn't. I came in around 1:07pm. The staff is horrible and they literally have NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. They don't greet customers when they walk in, they never smile and they wait for you to say somthing instead of saying "how can I help you" they make you feel like they don't want you there. They also give off this vibe that they're annoyed and don't want customers. If they dnt want to be there and do their job then they shuld wrk somewhere else. One of the grls tht made my smoothie didn't even call my name after she'd made it. She just pushed it aside and started making another one. I had to ask the grl tht took my order if the smoothie was mine. She asked wut kind i had then asked the grl who made it was it tht type and the grl said yea and she grabbed it and handed it to me...not sayin sorry or anything.
