With the world-touring band I manage we have been to Tropical Smoothie Cafes all over the USA, it's one of our go-to stops on the road, and it is with that vast experience with this chain that I can say with confidence: THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. DO NOT GO TO THIS TSC LOCATION. The cashier was shockingly rude. I order literally the exact same smoothie at every TSC I go to, with the exact same substitutions and the exact same ingredients left out, and this is the first time anyone has ever said no. And it wasn't that they were out of an ingredient or something understandable like that but rather they flat refused to make it claiming what I was asking for was "impossible". I have received the exact smoothie dozens of times from many different locations of Tropical Smoothie Cafe all over the country and this is the first time anyone has claimed my order is "impossible".
We did not read the reviews of this place before we went there. We should have. Other Tropical Smoothie Cafes are great; how bad could this one be? The answer is REALLY REALLY BAD! Believe the detailed bad reviews. This TSC is awful. The cashier was extremely rude and also just wrong, causing our whole group to leave instead of continue with the ordering process.
There was a long wait anyway, so probably for the best that we didn't get to the point other reviewers have where they waited 20+ minutes for items that didn't taste right. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

Read moreThis was the worst experience with Tropical Smoothie I've ever had in my entire life. Will never return here. The worst ever. The manager and staff should be ashamed. I placed an online order, for $13.84 that couldn't be fulfilled because their "blenders were down." So when I get there, they tell me they can't complete my order and hand me $13 back and said they didn't have change and so they couldn't give me the 84 cents. There were customers piled up behind me and I told them I wasn't leaving til they gave me my money back. They had to get a manager on the phone to authorize a refund of MY money when there was 16 cents in the tip jar they can take to cover the drawer until later! Horrible kids running that place. When I said "there's 16 cents in the tip jar, just take it from there and give me a dollar," they said "that's our tip money!" Like their money is more important than my money! The most ridiculous experience I've ever had anywhere. Honestly. Horrible way to do business. The kids in there were so rude, trying to steal my money and not give me anything! Oh, and a SMOOTHIE place's blenders ALL being down?! Every one of them?! Tell me another one lazy! There were probably 7 employees there that couldn't do anything, didn't amount to anything. Shameful. No sense of customer service whatsoever. They thought it was funny that they wouldn't make my food or smoothie and then wouldn't give me my money back! Read moreI placed an online order for a chicken & cheese quesadilla kids meal. My boyfriend swung by there picked up the food and came home with it. When I open the bag in the container that the quesadilla was in I find the quesadilla is flat burnt to a crisp & missing chicken. I have tried calling the store four times & left a voicemail. I also reached out to corporate. How do you look at a quesadilla that is burnt to a crisp & think that’s good food quality to serve to a paying customer? AND it’s missing the chicken that I paid Extra for!
On response to your sorry excuse of a response or solution: A women named Judy texted me, did not call & have a professional conversation, requested my mailing address to send a coupon. A coupon doesn’t fix the issue. Also, if you want to give out a coupon, that’s what emails are for. I’m not texting my personal information to a random number that claims to work for Tropical Smoothie support. I requested a refund. When I asked her why I wasn’t able to get a refund she never responded. If you’re wanting to fix the issue, how about you get a professional to pick up the phone & call to discuss the problem & give me my refund. Also from what I see from the rest of these reviews, it seems to be an on going issue at this location. If you want to fix the real problem, get a better management...
