This is one of the worst Wawa experiences I've had...and I frequent them often. The staff working the midnight shift at the Williamburg location on Richmond Road is useless. The deli worker seemed more concerned with her smoke break than doing her actual job. She seemed really irritated as I continued to order food. Her co- worker commented on the size of my order. I travel a lot and staying in hotels isn't the easiest for late night meals. The fact that Wawa being open for 24 hours and being able to get actual edible food other than a fast food drive-thru has always been the best thing , but not if the service sucks. If that's your job you should strive to take pride in it. You chose to work there at that time of night you should not be irritated with customers like me who spend my hard-earned money so that you can have the job... it's like everybody wants a job but nobody wants to work. They want to just do nothing all night long but that shouldn't be the case. The other two employees , I think the woman in charge and the cashier look less than interested in being there as well. So maybe that's just the culture of this location and all of them need to be retrained or need a reality check where they might miss the job they actually had. Someone should address these employees. Read moreI usually don’t do this. but, I was going to give this a 1 star, but thankfully the MOD fixed it. On 9/10 my brother & I came in around 10:30pm after spending the day at Busch Gardens. I worked at Wawa for 3 1/2 years, so I know how things go. I ordered a milkshake, by the time i went to the bathroom, grabbed snacks & paid, I looked over at the time on the screen & my milkshake was at NINE minutes, I didn’t say anything because they were busy & by the time my brother ordered what he wanted, paid & came over my milkshake was at FIFTEEN minutes. I walked over to look at the time on the other drinks & they were at eight minutes. When i asked Colby if he was going by the times the orders came up, he said “nope.” So i asked him if he could make mine he said “yeah why not.” He started to make it, but my main problem was he used the same mixer that he used for a STRAWBERRY milkshake before. He didn’t clean it like you’re suppose to. So i went to the MOD to tell her & when she went over to remake it. he said “i already made that, it’s right here.” & she said “you didn’t clean it.” & he looked at me & rolled his eyes. Also, my brother waited THIRTY minutes for his drink. (that doesn’t count the other drinks from customers he messed up) If Colby cannot handle pressure, he needs to be moved...
Read moreTried to order an iced caramel latte, couldn't order it iced so I ordered it hot and asked for special order to have ice added. I was looking at the refrigerated section when my special order was called. I immediately walked over. Her back was to me as she made something else, so I waited... for about 5 minutes. Finally we decide to just go pay because she's not getting back to my order. At this point I figured we may as well not get the coffee. My fiance didn't ask it to be removed from his ticket and I told him not to pay for something we're not getting. She asked why not and I told her my special order was called, but wasn't being made with NO ONE IN FRONT OF ME, so we decided it just wasn't worth it. She asked about my special order and I had said I wanted it iced. First she tells me they can't do it, then says they can add ice to it. So she goes to the counter and tells the girl (who at this point made it without my special order) to put ice in it. I then asked for white packets of sugar and I'm told (as she's turning her back to me and waking away) that they have none. Never mind that I also wanted some half and half. Will never go here again, and really should get my money back for that coffee....
