We went to see Matilda on Friday Nov 21 at their 8pm show. I brought 6 young ladies all around 10yrs old. When we went in they had tables set up on the side with games and coloring for kids which considering this show skewed younger was perfect for our group not to get antsy while waiting. They had a concession area with water, sodas, candy along with beer and wine.
It had been pouring during the day and evening, so the area was having an issue with the plumbing, and they almost had to close after intermission, but as we traveled almost two hours to get there, we were super glad they stayed open to finish the show.
The seats were a good size for my larger frame, which I appreciated.

Read moreTheater itself was set up nicely. The aisle space is wide and we'll marked. The seat rows are wide enough to get around seated patrons. I liked the chairs and tables in the lobby along with a small concession stand. For this show, a trio of musicians entertained you prior to the performance and during intermission. The play was Dandelion Wine. Not your typical main stream show but typical of the author Ray Bradbury. If you left at intermission, you missed the point of the show. Schools, community theater, local production companies - all worth it. Sometimes you have to think. Sometimes you have to laugh. Sometimes you have to cry.
