Read moreI went through the drive through, placed my order, and waited patiently after paying for my food. The store got fairly busy as we were pulling into the drive through, so we were asked to pull forward and wait. Not a problem. When we checked our order after receiving it, we realized we were missing a sandwich. I parked, went inside, and waited in line holding my food and my recipt. When I showed the employee my issue and explained what was going on, she tried to get it resolved. Another employee began to get an attitude and called me a liar. She stated she knew she put the sandwich in the bag. She paced back and forth yelling and cussing, then she demanded I empty the bag because I must be a liar, and she does not make mistakes. Another employee walked over and asked politely, "do you mind if I check the bag." I replied, "not a problem." Then I passed the bag over along with the recipt. She checked the bag and said, "yes, he's right, the sandwich is not there." At this point, another employee walked over and asked me to verify the sandwich. I repeated my order and then continued to wait while the one employee continued to yell and accuse me of lying about a sandwich. She then proceeded to angrily walk past me close enough to brush against me multiple times in an aisle wide enough to fit 5 or 6 grown men shoulder to shoulder. Still I wait, then a different employee walks over to me sees me standing there waiting, turns around grabs the sandwich from the counter and puts it in my bag. I said thank you have a good day and walk out. Absolutely annoyed and confused at the horrible treatment...
Read moreI’ve never had an issue with this Wendy’s previously. However, the new manager Jon( or John) is awful. He is an older white man. I pulled up to the window and his attitude was beyond horrible. In the process of my order, (while still at the ordering machine). I asked for a different sandwich, apparently that set John off. He caught an attitude, like I was causing him to have an issue WITH HIS JOB. However, I ignored it and went to the window. As I approach the window, John says- Excuse me, be more cautious when you are ordering: as the individuals in the back already prepared a chicken sandwich and already have your bag ready. He was very rude. I asked for my card back to leave, he proceeded to say HASTA LUEGO as I’m driving away. It was very child- like behavior. This is unacceptable. I have already filed a complaint with corporate Wendy's and I will be writing a letter to the franchise owner of this Wendy’s. John was unaware, but I have a close friend oversees multiple Wendy’s in the area. I will certainly make sure this made known and this will be the last time I return to this Wendy’s. It is such as shame as the previous manager was so much better. I cannot believe his attitude. The sad part is, I think he may be the manager of...
