It was like if a Japanese person, explained to a Chinese person what Teriyaki was, then that Chinese person explained it to an American, who then taught someone else how to teach others how to make it. Many steps removed from what Teriyaki is. It was not bad, but it was not good either, and was not what I was expecting. The Bao was tasty enough.
