&Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Visited this &Pizza location ahead of a long flight to Japan. A total disappointment for three reasons:

Nearly 30 minutes after opening, the restaurant had NO FRESH GREEN ingredients (basil, spinach, garlic, jalapeños, etc). No notice was posted, and nothing was relayed until after sauce was being lathered on my dough. The restaurant should not even open if it does not have over half the normal ingredients.

The worker making the pizzas and ringing customers up could not speak English, and could not understand basic words such as ‘garlic’ or ‘sauce.’ When I politely voiced my concern about the restaurant lacking half the ingredients, they could not understand.

Feeling utterly dissatisfied and disappointed after paying nearly $16, I contacted &Pizza customer support via text, and they graciously apologized and agreed to provide a full refund. Except nearly one month after the order, no refund has been issued.

I looked around my concourse while I was awaiting my flight at Dulles, and &pizza stood out to me. Big, long pizzas with really delicious sounding pre-made pizzas. I chose them out of the many other also delicious looking restaurants. Dulles airport has it going on, culinarily speaking.

So I go up to the counter and wait, an unusually long time. I think there was only one guy working, but he finally notices me there and comes up to take my order. I order one of the pre-made options and watch him do his thing. I was surprised as the good amount of toppings put on the pie.

This crust was awesome. Thin and crispy in all the right places, poofy and charred in all the other right places, and man, this thing was saucy and cheesy. Very decadent. Perfect amount of meats and veggies. I was surprised how good this pie was.

So, overall, if you like pizza and you're at Dulles, you can't go wrong with &pizza....

This is your typical conveyer-belt style pizza, so you choose your toppings and it cooks really fast (or you can choose from a list of recipes). It’s surprisingly good tasting pizza, and at a decent price.

The employees were absent for a good 7-8 minutes and I think they were on their break at the same time since they both returned at the same time still chewing food.
