I came in at 12:48 p.m. via drive through, and right off the bat, had the bad experience with the drive through intercom system. I had to ask the guy several times what he had just told me, for he kept ending the conversation short and leaving me to guess at what he said. I am pretty sure he told me a final price, but I could tell in his short responses that he was probably getting short with me and my "special" order (rice added to both of my green burritos, an item he did not repeat when he repeated my order back to me). In fact, the way he started off the order was no where near a nice, happy Hello, welcome to BT, may I take your order :) " I felt more like I had angered him right off the bat for my daring to come through his drive through.
I tried to make it specific to the man on the intercom that I did not want the extra hot sauce they always place with a to go order, telling them that I did not want to waste it. I think extra, nice conversation was not what BT wants in their employees OR customers. I then pull up and a robot of a grouch young lady with zero human expression spoke out my bill with no smile or eye contact. I said Hello, how are you, twice to her, but she never said anything back. I was going to go for a third time, but I figured why bother? I asked if they remembered to hold the hot sauce on the side for I didn't need it, and she seemed flummoxed that I should ask her. Of course, she reaches into my bag and takes out two hot sauces, no apologies. I told her that she probably didn't hear correctly since the man taking my order was cutting the mic too soon.
I found out towards the end that the man was the same person standing next to her, giving me funny looks as I explained all this to her. I give him credit that all his tattoos were probably spelled correctly. Neither one of them had ANY customer service skills whatsoever, which is sad since I like the green burritos so much. As I finally pull out onto Mooney and make my way to work, I grab a burrito from the bag and sure enough, there were two more small containers of hot sauce waiting for me...
Seriously, BT, you need to either hire new workers with HUMANITY skills, pay your current workers more so they can at least be happy about what they do and what they get paid, or just go to a completely automated system with mechanical means of distribution at the window instead of the current employees who are there. Never have I been through your drive through where I haven't felt like I have annoyed the employees for the gall of wanting a green burrito. I feel guilty for ordering there! In case you were wondering, BT, I ordered on 4-22-15 at 12:48 p.m., order #0245, no. 308745, Reg 02, 1 Employee. My meal was $9....
Read moreI really like their food and awesome prices, and I always thought this place was 4 stars (would be 5 if they had customer service) but today that all changed. I've always have thought they should work on their customer service. Today I forgot my debit at home and when I got to the window, I asked them to hold my order and I would drive back home to get it (which I have done before and they have held my order). This time I asked the lady at the window who looked at me like I wasn't going come back; I told her that I would be right back and as I'm still waiting for her to ask for my name so they know my order, there was a heavy pause and then I told her my name so they can put it on my order. The lady still looked at me with attitude like I wasn't coming back. I drive home and get my card, and drive back. I go inside and told them who I was, I gave them my card and ID to prove that I was honest. Thinking it would be only 2mins to get the card running, they ask me if I already had my food and milkshakes, and I said no because I had to get my card and told them to hold my food. Shocked, they pretty much didn't have my food ready(probably threw my food away) and I had to wait another 8-10mins for them to make it because some of the workers were talking to another worker who wasn't on shift who came in and i was literally watching them talk and also watching my food sit on the back counter. I really love their taco specials, but this time BT's is not worth my money, my time, and my gas because of their extreme poor...
