First restaurant that takes the cake for worst service ever! Been here a few times now, and everythings always been good. This visit was a little different. Me, my wife and 3 kids arrived and asked for a table. The waitress attempted to sit us at a table, and we told her we prefer a booth. She told us that our food wouldn't fit, and we told her we would make it work. She continued to make comments about how it wouldn't work out, and eventually sat us in the booth.

After sitting us, she came back and we ordered 2 sodas. She asked us what other drinks we were gonna order for the kids, and we told her all we wanted for the meantime was the 2 sodas. She returned with the 2 sodas and then began to tell us that only my wife and I could drink from the sodas, they were not for the kids since we didn't order enough drinks.

I told her how I was becoming frustrated that I came to eat dinner, and she has given me a hard time from not letting us sit in the booth, to now making a big deal about not being able to share our sodas because everybody needed to order their own! I told her I was really considering leaving because she was making my visit something it shouldn't be, she replied, "I don't care!" We got up and left. I then asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager/owner...she pointed at the same lady that was being rude.She told us that the lady we were arguing with was the owner. I told the cashier if the owner was giving being rude and giving out that level of service, there's definitely not a fix...

Terrible experience with this restaurant today. I made 3 orders of their Canton Chow Mein which was a $35 purchase. Upon ordering, the person who took the order said that there may not be enough to make 3. She put me on hold to verify with the kitchen. When she got back on the phone she said it was fine, but I told her that if they cannot fulfill the full orders then I didn't want all 3. She assured me there was enough. I paid and picked up my order and drove back to Exeter. When I opened one of the containers, there was one that wasn't full. I called the restaurant and was put on hold for 7 minutes. She finally got on the phone and told me to bring in the food so she could see it. I told her I would not make this up and she asked for my # so she could call me back after she talks to her staff. Her staff told her the orders were full.. I told her my container was definitely not full.. She then said that her kitchen cooks said it was. By then I was pretty irritated and I couldn''t believe she was making me go through this nonsense instead of either reimbursing my money or re-making the order fully. Very bad for business that they didn't want to just compensate their mistake. Never again. Check your orders before you leave...

We used to eat at Canton all the time. It has really gone downhill. They are very stingy and count out the exact number of plates and backs, silverware, for to go orders. We ordered hot and sour soup, which was the only thing that was even fairly okay. We ordered salt and pepper fish, which was terrible bland no flavoring. We ordered Mushu pork, they give us no wrappers. And it was very bland we ordered lemon chicken, which tasted like it, had been left out. It was dry and yeah, part of the coatng was coming off. They have signs all over the place, saying t is now being charged. Two dollars a pot charge for refillsIf you're having a party, bring your own plates and utensils, they've gotten really cheap and the prices.All have increased! We'll not be going back. We only did this because kowloons was closed for memorial...
