Downtown Rookies Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Visalia

This Saturday a close friend of mine's daughter was out with my friends downtown at Rookies having a good night. As the night went on the busier it got. It had to be way over capacity as you couldn't even move without practically being face to face with someone. Needless to say the women's bathroom was absolutely rediculuoius. Not only was it disgusting, but impossible to get into. There were so many people that you couldn't tell where the line even began. And the fact it's a three stall restroom and there is 20 girls in there taking selfies for 15 min at a time makes it even harder to get to. I couldn't wait becuase I urgently needed to go. I ran to the men's and used the stall in the men's restroom. The events that unfolded after are terrible. Upon leaving the bathroom I was charged by a male bouncer who is 3x my size. Shining his flashlight in my eyes, he then proceeded to push me backwards out of the back door in to the dark alley as he also verbally assaulted me and then slammed the door on my face. So there i am standing in a dark alley, all alone, fearful of my safety. I was given no opportunity to tell my friends or gather my belongings. And all I did was use the restroom. I wasn't picking fights with people. I wasn't being rude to staff. I was paying for my service that night. And let me just say they are ridiculously overpriced for the quality of service you get there. So anyways I proceeded to walk to the front of the building and speak with the bouncers up there about the events that just took place and try to get in contact with my friends. I let them know that it waas wrong what they did. It's discrimination, as they do not know what I identify as. They mocked me and then proceeded to ignored me. My friends finally were made aware of what happened and asked to be let out of the backdoor so that they could find me. They were concerned for my safety. Becuase again I was thrown into a dark alley in the middle of the night. A different bouncer began to give them issues. They were eventually let out, but not without problems from him. Not only did he verbally assault them, but he also kicked a rock (about the size of two fists) at one of them which hit her foot and injured her. After finally reuniting two of my friends went to the front to try and speak to someone to report that they were assaulted by the bouncer. The bouncers up there began to mock them as well. One of them finally made her way in to speak with someone. My other friend tried to go in after her to assure her safety and be a witness if something else happened. She was then shoved by the same bouncer who pushed me out. And told that she needs to "respect authority". So this is the issue people. These bouncers think they have power and believe it's okay to assault women, or anyone for that matter. But it's wrong. We didn't harm anyone. It causes me to be concerned for the safety of women and for the safety of transgenders in this bar. So if you're looking to be assaulted by men 3x your size go downtown to rookies. I'm sure they will have no problem with finding a reason to lay their hands on you or get in your face. Needless to say this isn't the end of this. I will not stand quiet and allow this to continue to happen to...

Bartender messed up my order every single time. Typical hustle. Rundown females running things. Messing up all orders. Collecting tips expecting tips don't bother expecting them to own up to their mistakes because they'll blame it on you. They will say catchy lines like I thought you said this or I thought you said that. Instead of getting a new order they will simply grab your messed up order take it to the back and add the stuff you wanted to it, ServSafe is out the question I don't know what chefs are running back there. 1 ft has been cooked you can't cook it twice and out of their condiments to it that's just ridiculous. Visalia's finest. Ghetto ratchet people collecting top-notch dollars. Warm beer 🍺.$12 a mug of beer. Serve very warm and very flat A regular sight of fries cost 12 plus tax . Where was my burger I think McDonald's dollar menu would have served more Justice.

On a Saturday the 20th of February. My wife and i went in and it was seat yourself. Sat at the high top in the bar. Waitress walked by and said I’ll be right with you. 15 minutes later no waitress. Went to the bar to order a drink. While at the bar, she came to the table my wife was at and dropped off menus. I went to the table looked at menu and in the process of finishing our drinks. Never came to take order. Watched her take three other orders of customers that came way after us. Even the bartender took an order of the table behind us. Worst service I ever experienced!!!!
