Went here on a Monday evening. Parking was easy to find and the place wasn't busy. I got their #8 on a 6 inch, which is a mortadella, coppa, cotton, salami genoa and salami sandwich with their house-made onion bread. Man, that bread is soft and pillowy! Very easy to bite. The sandwich, overall, is very solid. I also got their house-made chocolate chip cookies, which were good. Overall, I definitely recommend coming here for your sandwich fix. The bread in itself is well-made, although I'd go more crazy on the onion toppings. The inside is very nice with a lot of newspaper clippings about the store along with photos of different people. The lady working there (I believe is the owner) was very nice too!

This place is a Visalia classic. I've been going here for 20 years. They have a location on Acres too. The staff is wonderful. The lady that helps us seems quiet at first, but just give it a minute and she warms up quick. They have fresh food and great sandwiches. I get the pastrami most the time. Wonderful atmosphere too. Nice quiet sandwich shop.

Excellent sandwiches! I've never had a sandwich I didn't like! The staff is cool and friendly, atmosphere... I'll take it home, where I'm comfortable, but that's a plus! If I'm starving and can't wait, they're great to talk with if they have time. The food, the prep, the everything that goes into your mouth here is way better than any other sammich shop in this town! Was looking forward to enjoying my veggie sandwich, but I and another diner who also ordered veggie sandwich were disappointed. Lacked veggies and too much avocado. Cheese was one small slice.
