There’s plenty of choices for Mexican food in North County, nothing new. What IS NEW in MY experience is the quality and customer service @ Evaga Tacos Y Mariscos. The owner is in there with the rest of the staff, putting in the work and their efforts are apparent. My first time trying it out, I asked for something not on the menu, the owner was quick and happy to accommodate my specific requests, cool, very cool actually. The mix of ingredients for my order seems standard faire, but the attention to how they were prepared is absolutely why I will be going back. I’ve been to the Evaga Oceanside restaurant and the food is off the hook. I saw them opening up inside the Chevron gas station and gave it a try. It does have a limited menu with the main staple items. I had the Cali-Burrito and the rolled tacos, to my surprise the food was excellent if not better than the sit down restruant in Oceanside.
