We live nearby and come here often for the food. The service is absolutely sub par. Generally a lot of young people that have not been properly trained. I believe they have potential but they need to be trained how to interact with the customers. They are dismissive and actually roll their eyes at you. I'm here now... we've been sitting here for almost 10 mins and I asked for a menu and she said "well, (eye roll) I was going to ask you for your drinks first" and the she just walked away. Every time we have been here it's the same but with different perceived provocations. I don't think they mean to be like that. It's the management/owners responsibility to teach them how to interact in a friendly way. I'm looking around and I can see others are frustrated as well. Two just walked out. I belive this can change... people want to be here for the food... BUT really it's not good enough to keep putting up with this. This will be our last time here. Today I will speak to management/owner and share these things directly so that her business can thrive if she/they follow through. Every time I am here I see and experience the same thing. I hope it changes. The person with the golden red hair seems to be especially not interested in my opinion in working here. *update i spoke to the owner. She is going through a very tough time. I offered her support and she seems interested in receiving help. It's a local long time business of over 50 years. Let's support her when she makes some changes!!...
Read moreI placed my online order on the Door Dash App this morning for my breakfast meal. This is my first order and my first time ordering from Mom’s Kitchen. I ordered the Frenchie it comes wit 2 thicker slices of French Toast with cinnamon, confectionery sugar and I chose to add the sliced sweet strawberries for the topping. Their bread slices Morgan their manager t called her and spoke to her today. Morgan said their thicker bread slices is from Oasis Bakery. Their bread was very delicious used as their French Toast. I love their thicker slices versus thin slices of French Toast elsewhere. The Frenchie includes 2 eggs of my choice and a bacon or sausage. My choice was the 2 Scrambled Eggs and 2 Bacon Strips. The price is $14.00 but I added the strawberries so it’s an extra charge of $2.00 more. My total was $16.95. Then I ordered one regular size orange juice. The price is $3.95. This breakfast meal , the French Toast is the best tasting I have eaten in a long time. These 2 Scrambled Eggs are fluffy and delicious. The 2 Bacon Strips was very crunchy and very flavorful. The orange juice was very good and lightly sweetened. My delivery fee was zero. The service fee was $1.88. The tax was $1.72. The dasher tip for Vania I chose was $5.50. My total bill was $30.00. I charged my order to my credit card account today. I highly recommend...
Read moreCan not recommend. So why the poor review. Was my first time there. 10am on a Friday for breakfast. The place is small and I sat at the counter. Almost to capacity, patron wise with about 5 tables and the counter. 2 waitresses on the floor. One older, one younger. Service was painfully slow and I thought sitting at the counter it'd be speedier. NOT! ----- The food was marginal. You will get better at a chain restaurant like Denny's etc. My coffee was empty for about 10 minutes before any waitress noticed. I had to stop a waitress and help them notice I needed coffee. They simply weren't paying attention. ----- THE WORST PART was when I paid in cash and the older waitress didn't bother to return any of my change (coins & bill) but tossed it in the tips bin. WHAT AN INSULT! Nothing like getting your money hijacked. I'LL NEVER GO BACK because of that shady practice. A very cheap tactic that only sleezy bars use. This place lost my continual patronage and earned a VERY POOR REVIEW. There are better places out there with better food, service and they return your change. No wonder this place is stuck along side an alley. How they stay in business,...
