Excellent Quality sushi. Very fresh and delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the following nigiri: Unagi (best ever!), sake (delicious / excellent cut /fresh & flavorful), Hamachi (outstanding!), Ikura (very easy) And the following rolls: Hot Night (if you like a little bit of kick this one is outstanding - just the right amount of kick) Softshell Crab Special Roll (had all kinds of fish: tuna, hamachi, salmon and soft-shell crab in the middle - outstanding flavor!)

Here is the huge issue I discovered later on that several other had mentioned and that is only reason I found out:

This is a new restaurant and the prices on the menu do NOT match what you are being charged for! I heard from others being told that the new POS system has outdated pricing!??? How would that be possible when it is a brand new restaurant and you set the prices in your POS system ?? And are able to updates those prices immediately once you see a variance with what your menu shows??? Seems rather un-ethical and not really truthful so I am very torn by this late discovery. I hope they will fix this 'mistake' as I would not want to go back to a place where they try to scam you and make poor excuses. Makes no sense to me when you seem to have a great place, excellent food and good customer service. Not sure what the owner is thinking or doing here... very...

Turi Sushi blew away our expectations. After becoming a frequenter of Mikko Sushi (due to proximity) and being disappointed by the new seafood restaurant and wine bar in the historic downtown, expectations were on the lower end. Food quality and variety was excellent, they have had salmon belly, toro, yellow tail belly, king salmon, amberjack, and halibut both as specials and consistent options. The fish is high quality and delectable, no over abundance of rice, and they have fresh wasabi. We also tried some hot food like their salmon cama (the collar) and it was perfectly tender. Also, one of us has a shrimp allergy and they didn’t have any reaction to non-shrimp dishes. The staff is incredibly accommodating and kind, they mastered the balance of timing service and not making us feel rushed. They remembered us from a previous visit and chatted with us as well as asked for feedback.
