Moved to Texas a few years ago. When looking for a place to move I stopped in Waco Texas. I did the touristy Magnolia Silos visit but the whole time I kept smelling this amazing smell and on the walk back to the car my friends and I decided to find where the heavenly aroma was coming from. We found Backyard Bar and Grill and saw they had two menus. We looked at the Broken G menu and tried a bunch of things the Black N Gold mac and cheese is to die for. Since then Ive come in to grab that and I have even purchased containers of the Broken G BBQ sauce it is amazing. I think this the best BBQ i have had in the two years I have lived here in Texas and Ihave tried in total 15 different spots (from Dallas to San Antonio to Houston) this is the number one. I'm not a fan of sitting outside, but they did have sunbrellas.
While I'm a big eater, I couldn't finish this plate of food. That's something I basically never say.
Based on what I saw people eating at the silos area and my own dining here, I think this place could be the best. The value alone is worth walking the 3 blocks from...
