The experience here used to be better but something has happened at the store in Waco recently that seems to have changed that.
They used to give you free refills and I even tried to get absolute confirmation before I ever took advantage of that service.
I asked if it that was really company policy and the staff assured me that it was.
I've been told many times that you can refill your drink for free, even if you aren't buying anything, which still admitedly sounds strange.
This store needs to have some policy review regarding this though because there is deffinitely some miscommunication somewhere
However, the problem that I experienced yesterday was not with the refills really, but with the attitude of staff leadership in general and with the lack of a clear policy about the issue of refills.
There is never a reason to be rude to your customers, especially those that come back, and they have become extremely rude there.
The attitude of the manager today was bad. I rarely see her but when I do, she seems to look for a way to be difficult.
I don't know why that is but it seems to be getting worse there and I think that the level of indifference to her customer rubs off on her employees who now feel like it's okay to be rude to people.
I am not as frequent of a customer as I used to be and that's as a direct result as of being treated so rudely there as well as the overall environmental conditions that are seen here.
For example, employees are allowed to hang out in front of the store and smoke cigarettes and marijuana and whatever else right in front of the customer.
It's not exactly the most appetizing scene right in front of a food establishment to say the least.
I sincerely hope that the attitude of the staff here at Burger King improves and I am of'course happy to remove this comment if...
Read moreCame to Burger King on 9/23/24. Had ordered ahead on the app. Went through the drive-thru and when I got to the window the Caucasian older chick told me they couldn't give us the shake we ordered because the machine was down. I told her that we had ordered online so how do we go about getting a refund then? She says they can either substitute or I would have to take it up with the app for a refund because they had nothing to do with that (All this being said rudely). Long story short. She had closed the window on me mid-sentence so at that point I'm livid. She doesn't want to give me her name so I can complain to corporate about her poor cs skills. Says she legally doesn't have to give me her name. I call BS. She tells the younger white chick to just close the window on me. I sit in the drive-thru waiting. She sends over the manager and he helps me with doing the refund on the app. The whole time this girl child is running her mouth in the background. Even had the manager annoyed and he said they'd write her up and kept apologizing. I don't recommend coming here. I'm honestly so done with this place and glad I was able to keep my cool through it all. I have contacted corporate by email to fix this matter. FYI don't bother to call the number that pops up on Google because it doesn't work. I had to email BK through the app to...

Sometimes curiosity brings you through a door you shouldâve just passed by. This was one of those times. I walked into this Burger King on New Road with low expectations, just hoping for a classic char-grilled Whopper. Instead, I got a crime scene.
The Whopper arrived drenchedâno, assaultedâwith mayo and ketchup. Not just on the inside, but smeared all over the outside of the bun like somebody took out their bad day on my lunch. It was a mess. A cold, wet, structural disaster that fell apart before the second bite. No balance, no careâjust chaos in a sesame seed suit.
Then came the âHavesies,â a half-and-half mix of fries and onion rings that promised variety but delivered freezer-burned mediocrity. The onion rings were flavorless, limp, and hollow. The fries? Equally lifeless. Not crispy. Not hot. Not even salty. Just⌠tired.
The dining room was eerily quietâghost town vibes. The floors were dirty, the condiment station was neglected, and the air carried the distinct scent of resignation. I shouldâve listened to the dozens of times I passed this place thinking, âNot today.â But today, I did. And I wonât again.
This location is a masterclass in how not to care. From service to cleanliness to execution, itâs clear the wheels have fallen offâand no...
