A Wonderful Venue for Our Horse Charity Show Experience!

As avid horse enthusiasts, my wife and I recently participated in a charity show at the Extraco Events Center, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience! We would gladly give it a 5-star rating as it exceeded our expectations in every way!

On September 2nd I waited until 9am to purchase box tickets for the Rodeo when I got on line at 9am exactly I clicked on the dates for box tickets and I noticed there were none at all so after 5 minutes all of a sudden the site went down I called the office and spoke with Belinda she was not aware of the issue and said she will call me back as soon as it comes back up I stayed on line for several minutes it said there was technical problems to check back later but I stayed on the site the whole time and kept refreshing it to not lose my place there. Finally it came back up I checked every single day of the rodeo not one box ticket on there how can this be this is absolutely so sad you make the public wait and wait to buy box tickets on line and when we do get on right as it opens up there’s nothing there I don’t believe for one moment that every single day the tickets were gone at 9am this cannot be true I had surgery I really can’t be walking up steps like that in the end I had no choice but to get mezzanine seats how sad is that huh are you so greedy that you see box tickets to insiders leaving nothing for the public and then having technical issues that still leave us in the dark I’m very very disappointed in how you do things there at HOT it’s bad enough that you charge $10 for parking too you have no problem building new things but then you charge us locals for paying those loans off I call every year in advance about box tickets and it’s always a waiting game I do believe you care more about your sponsors than you do the rest of us I’m very sad this happened to me especially since I was on line right at 9am. It’s never gonna change because you don’t want the change for the public I’m sure others are very upset too by the way I never got a call back from Belinda...

The fair was fun and an excellent place to be whenever you get bored but i'm only giving it 4 stars because when I went to the building with all the stands in it to use the restroom because I don't trust port a potty. Before I walked in there was a sign on the door that said open please come on in and as soon as I was done using the restroom I was immediately confronted by one of the people operating the stands asking if I work with one of the stands they have and I told him no and before I can finish what I was about to say he told me to get out because they're closing and he then asked me how I got in and when I mentioned the sign he told that they closed 5 mins ago because they close at 10 and it was 10:05, he then told me he was and I quote "forcing people out so that we can close already" So when I was leaving he followed me to the door and then I left the building. I would also like to add that I had entered the building at 9:55 and I only went in because of the sign and to use the restroom . If they wanted everyone out then I recommend taking down the sign and locking the doors 5-10 mins before closing so that gives them plenty of time to get everyone out of the building in an organize manner.
