Five Stars Just Isn’t Enough for This Experience
From the moment I stepped into Bush’s Chicken, I could tell I was in for something special. The warm, welcoming atmosphere immediately made me feel at home, and the staff were as sweet as the tea they serve—genuinely kind, courteous, and eager to make my experience a great one.
Now let’s talk about the food—because wow. I ordered the 4-piece tender meal with a side of fried okra and a sweet tea, and every single bite was a reminder of why Southern comfort food is in a league of its own. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, and it wasn’t overpowering, just flavorful enough to make you want another piece before you even finish the one in your hand.
The fried okra deserves its own standing ovation. Golden, crunchy, and piping hot—it had just the right amount of salt and crisp without being greasy. A true Southern staple done right. It paired perfectly with the tenders and brought the whole meal together in the best way possible.
And of course, the sweet tea. Let me just say—Bush’s gets sweet tea. It was ice-cold, not overly syrupy, but had that smooth, refreshing sweetness that just hits the spot. Honestly, I’d come back just for the tea alone.
I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Bush’s Chicken has earned itself a regular customer with this one meal. If you’re craving great food, friendly service, and a meal that satisfies from the first bite to the last sip, this is the...
Read moreThe service was very poor, and the server seemed to not want to be there. I am from out of town so I was asking questions and she was not thrilled. After I placed my order, I realized I was never asked about a sauce option for the tenders. So, when she came back I asked her the options. Again, wasnt thrilled. Then I asked for select sauces nicely still, and she informed me it was $.60 more. First, my chicken tender meal should come with sauce to begin with, and if she had of asked me the first time I would of paid additional if it was needed. Instead I had given her my card twice now. The second time she handed me the sauces and receipt. I got back to my hotel and started looking for my card, only to find out she did not give it back to me. I called the location and they told me that they would search for it. Then they found it and asked me to come back. They didn’t apologize once I was there or on the phone. Then I sat there waiting after I’ve told two different service members what I was there for. So now I am back at my hotel, having ordered my food 20 minutes ago, which is now cold and they didnt even offer me anything when i went to get my card such as a drink or to replace my now cold...
