This is one of the worst and I mean one of the worst Golden Corrals I’ve ever eaten at and has gone down hill over the years. I would sometimes come for my lunch meetings or come in during the week once or twice to get a bite to eat when I didn’t feel like cooking. The plates are old and always have food from the next person’s meal still attached to the plates. You have to go through at least 10 plates before finding a clean one to serve yourself. The salad bowls are the same way dingy and brown with cut marks. Condiment bottles that are on the table are dirty and sometimes empty and are never wiped down or cleaned or the inside of the condiments lid. The same towel is used to wipe down every table. The kids booster and rolling high chairs are filthy. They serve the same things everyday. And only switch up every blue moon with serving wings or shrimp pasta. The sweet potatoes have black specks in them, I’m not sure what that is? It takes almost 30 mins for a new batch of chicken to be served. The ice cream machine when it runs out forget it, you’re not getting any because they are not going to refill it. I’ve seen roaches on 5 separate occasions. On the walls, on the salad bar, crawling on the glass over the hot food, and on my table while eating. Management only makes excuses about they just sprayed and acts nonchalant about the situation. Went to use the restroom which I never do, the trash inside the stall was full and spilling over onto the the floor and creeping up the wall due to it not being emptied. Also the restroom had a smell of not being cleaned. I will NOT be eating here again! This place should be shut down. Not sure why the Health Department hasn’t done so...
Read moreWe went for dinner, earlier tonight, at this restaurant, and, found that 90% of the employees were wearing their mask, under their chins! These were the people stirring the food and the man cooking over the grill!! They were right over the food... no protection!! I guess Golden Corral knows better than the scientist..... I mean, I am sure that they care about their customers, that are spending their hard-earned money, enough, to protect them from a deadly pandemic, so, they must have been advised that wearing a mask underneath your chin and on your neck protected people. I had not been made aware of that yet! We made it to the cash register and asked the girl why this was and very quickly she let us know that they did not even have to wear them and believe me it was not said nicely! We left without eating! We will not spend our money at a business that does not care enough to protect its customers! It is a selfish act to not wear a mask; it is saying to others, I do not care what happens to you, I do not care if I am carrying the virus, without even knowing it, because, my comfort level and my need to do what I want to do, is more important than your life! Shame on...
Read moreI should start by saying this was during the Sunday Lunch Rush.... with that said I realize its probably one of the busiest times but if your going to be open at this time, then as a business you should be prepared. After paying and finding a table my party was very disappointed to find that the choices of what to eat were VERY limited. Not that they didnt have a bunch of choices, just that there was hardly anything there. Almost every pan was empty. I felt like I was just picking from the leftovers. Waiting 20-30 minutes didnt help anything because there was such a line that it was like vultures on a fresh dead carcass.... as soon as an item was put out it was gone already. People were cutting in line because they were hungry and had been waiting so long for a piece of fried chicken I felt like I was gonna get trampled. I gave 2 stars since the salad bar and desert bar were stocked pretty good and the waitress we had was friendly and attentive. But, actually went home hungry and made a sandwich. Cant tell you if how the food taste since I was...
