Lucky Buck's Rooftop Bar — Restaurant in Waco

I recently visited this bar for the first time. The cocktails were ok and the menu offered a tasty but limited options. While I understand the bar is a more casual setting from the hotel restaurant itself the simple menu did have me wanting and in a more timely manner as well. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the establishment.

During the two hours that I was there, I noticed that none of the staff cleaned any of the tables. In fact, it seemed like the customers were the ones taking it upon themselves to wipe down and clean the tables before sitting down. It was quite off-putting to see the lack of attention to cleanliness from the staff.

I understand that bars can get busy and it can be difficult to keep up with cleaning, but it was a slow day and it was clear that the (4) staff were not making an effort to maintain a clean environment. They stayed behind the bar the entire time. This definitely impacted my overall experience at the bar. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and make improvements in the future as we are planning to visit the hotel...

Wow! The whole development is so cool, love this new spot in Waco. Hotel Herringbone as a whole is just what Waco needs as it continues to grow and lure new people into this great city!
